Sounds fine. I am going to be on vacation for the third week of August, but I'll manage.

Draft is set up.
Here are the specifics: 1. Starts on 8/8 2. There will be 13 rounds. 3. DO NOT draft players on the protected list. IF YOU DO, YOU LOSE THAT PICK. The incorrect pick will be made at the end of the draft. So, it's a good idea to keep an eye on the Keeper list. I will not do this for you. You have been warned. 4. Each person has 2 hours to pick. 5. BOTS are on, so if you can't pick, make sure you have a preference list set up the way you like it. 6. BOTS will run from 10 AM EST to 11 PM EST. Good luck to all, and remember to AT LEAST set your preference list with about 10 guys in case you miss the draft. You will be emailed when it is your pick by the website, so if you need to update your address, I would take care of that soon. |

I believe that everyone needs to release the players that they aren’t keeping. I won't be around Monday, so I went to set a draft list and it says the following...
Quote:
All players who finished on a roster last year are brown, making them undraftable. |

Thanks, TLK! Everyone, release the players on your team that you ARE NOT keeping. I'll make sure this is done before monday, as well.

How do I access the league once I'm signed into cbs.sportsline.com? I clicked Fantasy Football, and it just asks me to signup...

dola, apparently you just mouse over the "Fantasy" menu item... dumb site design.
And do we really have to drop our players on a player-by-player basis?? Or am I missing an easy way to do this? |

AND...the draft order is set. We are ready to roll on Monday.
Please remember to rank your players in case you miss a pick. You never know how quickly it will get back to you. Also remember that we use a serpentine draft method, so plan accordingly. Smell that? Football is in the air!! |

Guys, I'm so scared right now. Can I go to jail for this:
"WARNING: Your roster is currently illegal." |

I also get the roster illegal message.
When will we be able to set up a draft rank? (not that i'm worried because I pick last since I won last year ) |

On the left column there are links to Rank Players and the Draft Room. You can set your order at either location, although it is probably easier to do it through the Draft Room.

I went to my team's roster and saw Jake Plummer there. Just as I was getting pissed because Sportsline screwed me over... I remembered, he was one of my keepers.

We can still leave the keeper players on our list, right? They just won't get picked?

They're still listed on the rank page as brown players. Would I have to move them as ranked last or something? |

I forget at what point it's legit to do trades but ages ago MikeVic and I agreed to swap Marc Bulger and Chad Johnson.

It took me a long time to figure out that those are projected stats they show on the player rankings list. At first my mind was blown that Cedric Benson had over 1000 yards somehow.

If you plan on drafting from your list, remember to enter the draft room and check auto-pilot.

I think right after the draft until whenever our trade deadline is. Would this be a good time to see if enough people are interested to do trades in the offseason? |

My understanding is that it will just skip those guys and go to the next "non-brown" player on your list. I must admit, having those keepers listed really clutters things up on the java screen. It is a pain in my ass.

If I set that auto-pilot option, will it pick from my list right away, or does it still give me 2 hours to pick manually?

So if I don't check auto-pilot, and 2 hours passes.... I forfeit my pick, or...?

NOTE: If you are fairly sure you are going to miss a pick, please check your AUTOPILOT to on, so that we don't have to wait 2 hours. Thanks! |
