The 49ers should be up 21-0 at this point; what the fuck was that punt return idiocy?

I like that Payton isn't taking a chance on the kick and is trying to run it in.

An early Christmas gift to the Saints. Redskins played as well as they could have and handed it to them.

They better get rid of that kicker tomorrow. No excuse for missing a 22 yard FG with the game on the line.

Finally moving the ball for the first time in the second half and Gore coughs it up.

Nice to finally see the Giants make some big plays. Jacob's 74 yard reception for a TD and now Hixon's punt return for a TD.

Yeah, Jacobs definitely sowed up the MVP with that 74 yard TD pass.

I am pretty sure the rules for PI would say that was classic pass interference with the defender not looking back for the ball.

Ah, well.

I don't know why the Vikings even run the ball in the first half anymore.

With the NFL eliminating revenue sharing how long before we have the LA Jaguars (sorry Jags fans)?

Boldin ridiculous catch and run.

I wonder if the Vikings could have challenged that one for Boldin's foot being out of bounds? (if it even was)

That 3 and out when they ran the ball three straight times was ridiculous. Childress at his best there.

That didn't seem all that bad of a call on the shovel pass, it looked open and Taylor didn't hit the hole quickly enough and got bounced back. AD scores most likely. Ok, ok, I don't know.

But I'd still rather see Favre to Shiancoe in that situation.

Yeah, that is what sucks about all these different lineman in. They arent in sync. Perhaps the starting guard blocks it differently. Who knows. They need to get to halftime at no worse than 17-10.

I'd like to thank the Seahawks for making next week Cards/49ers game less suspenseful. Surprised after last week's fiasco against the Titans that Favre hasn't already thrown for 400 yards against them.

If the Cards win, it gives the Saints breathing room for home field.

I'm pulling for the Cards. I don't want Minnesota to have anything to play for when the Giants play them in week 17

I think they locked up home field with that win today. They had every reason to lose that game yet they still won. The rest of their schedule is pretty weak.

The Vikings owe them one too. Similiar situation two years ago I believe except the roles were reversed.

This is what happens when Favre gets behind. He turns into Jay Cutler. Poor effort thus far in front of a lot of Viking fans that made the trip to the desert.

I think Favre invented forcing throws long before Cutler.

Hell, we have seen a healthy Tom Brady get flustered in the last couple of weeks. Minn's running game has been a bit overrated all year, Favre was bound to have a tough game like this eventually.

Adrian Peterson may be the most overrated player in the NFL.

aside from his fumbles he is still the most dominating back in the nfl. 8 men in the box.

Most great RBs tend to be overrated to some degree in their prime, AD definitely isn't the best in the NFL this year if you factor in ball security. I just don't think Minn is run blocking all that well this year compared to last. (Pass blocking has been great at times though.)

They've turned him into a "game manager" now. He threw 17 passes all game and was under 50% completion percentage wise. Missed a lot of easy throws and underthrew a couple receivers again.

He's not good and they no longer trust him to throw.

Aside from the fumbles? That's a pretty big part of it.

He's also inconsistent and doesn't catch the ball well.

Steven Jackson, Chris Johnson, and some other backs see a lot of 8 man fronts as well and they don't have Peterson's problems. He's a solid back that can have a huge game or break a long run at any time, but there's at least 5 backs I'd take over him, if not more.

Hes taking what is there which is good for him right now. They are breaking him down and probably go to build him back up. Last week against the Vikings I seen numerous times he could have forced a bad throw and didnt so therefore I feel something has clicked. I didnt watch the Bears today I just seen he didnt throw any ints which is progress IMO.
