Your DE position looks strong for the next few years.
Are you quick simming these games? Last edited by MrBug708 : 08-13-2008 at 11:55 AM. |

Yea. I was playing them out at first, but always felt like the stats were bad and I was winning games that I shouldn't have won, so I started this dynasty as a quick-sim. I'm losing most games that I should be losing now, but the occasional upset is still there. I have the most fun recruiting anyway, so this is the best way for me to play, I think. I have my Online Dynasty to play out the games. |

2009 Recap:
I was prepared for another bad season after starting out 1-3, and was even worried about my job security. But we won every single game from that point on, and even won our bowl game. Recruiting didn't go as well as we hoped, but there's nothing wrong with solid depth and many of last year's recruits will hit the field for the first time. We're excited about the future. Here are some stat leaders: QB Jabu Lovelace. SR(RS). 164-247, 2047 Yards, 24 TD's-7 INT's RB Kordell Young. JR(RS). 230 Att. 1199 Yards. 5.2 YPC. 10 TD's WR Kenny Britt. SR. 50 Receptions. 598 Yards. 11.9 YPR. 6 TD's. OLB Manny Abreu. SO(RS). 80 Tackles. OLB Manny Abreu. SO(RS). 6 Sacks. SS Joe Lefeged. JR. 4 INT's Last edited by JetsIn06 : 08-13-2008 at 04:56 PM. |

I've decided to join the ACC.
It could mean a poor record for the next year or two, but I think we'll be happy we did it in the long run. Last edited by JetsIn06 : 08-13-2008 at 06:14 PM. |

2010 Off-Season
Players LeavingOh...hell no. Cody Richardson was promised a starting role and solid playing time, and he got it, and still decides to transfer? And Caleb Ruch declaring for the draft with only two seasons under his belt? Hell no. I'm gonna have to try and convince these guys to stay now. Phew. I convinced both to stay but used up two hours of my recruiting time. As for the graduating seniors, a new era starts at Rutgers with Lovelace leaving. D.C. Jefferson, a sophomore, now has the reigns. Losing Britt hurts as well. We lost quite a few defensive starters, but I'm excited about seeing the new guys step in. 2010 Pre-Season Notes
Returning Starters: 11 (6 Offense, 5 Defense) Key Losses: WR Kenny Britt Britt was the anchor of our passing attack, and now we turn it over to a bunch of freshmen and sophmores. CB Devin McCourty He was our one true solid player in the secondary last season, and losing him could hurt quite a bit. We may have to start a first year player. WR Tim Brown He was a small guy, but fast as hell. We'll miss him in the slot. MLB Ryan D'Imperio He was a great tackler and a solid leader on defense. 2010 Recruiting
Pipeline:Our pipeline states are NJ, NY, PA, and FL. Major Needs: Tight End: I actually need two, so this is a major need. Left Tackle: With Anthony Davis leaving after this year, I need someone to protect my QB. Center: My starter is graduating and his backup is still a WIP. Minor Needs: Fullback: Need someone here since I only have a JR and a SR at the spot right now. Guard: Still looking for future starters, but I have a year cushion. Free Safety: I love Richardson, but his commitment to our school scares me. I had to talk him out of transferring and ya never know if that will work next time. Weird game though. Our offense wasn't great. Each team had 5 sacks, but we were able to grind it out on the ground. Robinson had 130 yards but only 3.5 YPC. We'll take it though. Final Score: Rutgers 27, North Carolina 19 |
