Iowa up 33-10 early in the 4th. We lost our starting RB in the 1st quarter. Our back up has 4 rushing TDs. Good stuff.

Iowa wins 40-10.
Iowa had almost 300 yards rushing with our 3rd string RB getting over 200 of them.
We also are missing both starting tackles, our best defensive lineman and our best WR. And our QB has a groin issue and was gimpy all game.

Don't discount Iowa. This is a legit team.

Man, I thought Ole Miss was going to be a quality team this year. They have been very disappointing.

Michigan is going to need Rudock to make some plays today. That won't be good for Michigan.

And the CPJ magic continues in Atlanta.

That's the formula for a game-winning 56 yard field goal.

There's nothing to say about the state of GT football that I haven't already said. Don't tell me about injuries, tell me how one fluke season every 5-10 years justifies keeping that sonofabitch on the sidelines. North Avenue football is a fucking dumpster fire at this point.

first of all, there is no excuse -- EVER -- for a major conference team to lose to Tiger High. Period. And I say that even with knowing that I'll end up forced to rank them in my top 25 next week. And no matter what ranking Florida has / ends up with, I've watched that team, it's one of the worst highly ranked teams I've seen since the last time the Gators went on a run like this. It's nothing short of a coaching miracle what they've done thus far afaic.

But it's not really the losses, it's the manner of them. They beat Bama, then struggled for quite a while against a woeful Vanderbilt. Then utterly destroyed by UF, a win over a high school team, and then today.

It's very much as though they beat Bama and then decided well fuck it, our work here is done.

Yep, Iowa is better than I anticipated. I do believe three better teams are in the Eastern division, though.

I'm seeing that at the HS level pretty frequently now too (we do it sometimes even). It's about comfort for both C and QB mostly I think. Might be other reasons & situations, but that seems to be the main thing.

I guess that makes sense on some level, but I feel like you should be able to impose your will in that situation. Heck just let your 6'4 QB go for a sneak when it's that short of a situation.

Leonte Carroo doing yeoman's work. 5 catches for 106 yards and 2 TDs in the first half.

Rutgers up 27-24 at halftime after being down 24-13. Sudfeld and Laviano have combined for 517 passing yards in the first half.

I knew I should have bet the over.

I don't doubt that, talent-wise. But Iowa has a really good defense and can run the ball. They would (will?) give the East division teams a game.

Iowa always gives MSU and UM fits and beats them regularly. OSU, on the other hand, has a lot more talent than Iowa. And Iowa always struggles with them.

And, if this Michigan score holds, who would have said Michigan and Iowa would be in the front seat for the B1G title game at this point o the season?

Three plays in a row being reviewed, first two reversed against Michigan TD's. If this one also gets reversed, Harbaugh is going to go serial killer on the ref squad

It looks more like the on field refs have money on Michigan. That was not a TD on any of the three TDs called on the field. How that last play was called a TD when forward progress stopped and the RB was pushed backwards is bizarre. Also, that was a catch called out of bounds on the MSU possession. It's a clown show out there.

That QB at Memphis is making a name for himself. Moves well, throws well, seems to be a strong decision maker. Size too. Was fun watching him play today.

I wouldn't want to be the refs of the Mich-MSU game when it comes time to get their reviews from the Big 10 this week.

Great game between two even teams. It just happens to be officiated by a Jr. High crew. I keep expecting to see Witvoet making penalty announcements it's so bad.

Flood needs to go ASAP. The way we are constantly outplayed after halftime and have once again given up over 600 yards. We actually won some conference games last year, I can't see us winning 1 this year.

I mean, they've made 2 conference championships in 3 years and are sending folks to the NFL, what more do you want? They've lost some pretty fluky games this year. You want to see dumpster fire, try Rutgers.

Well, this got interesting. RU has rallied back and is now tied 52-52 with IU. Kyle Federico has missed an XP and had one blocked, and RU failed a pair of 2-pt conversions.
