That was a crap pass by Favre -- he fired it over Taylor's head from under 10-yards away. It probably would have been better if Taylor hadn't have tried to catch it and let it sail incomplete.

Vernon Davis? Another guy on my fantasy bench. 45 points between him and Slaton in one of my leagues. In their place I had Gates and Hightower -- so we've got 5 points so far, Hightower just needs 40 to make that even.

Wasnt a great pass but its one Chester makes 9 out of 10 times. He certainly doesnt usally knock it straight up in the air.

Vikings don't have anything bad to feel in this one. They drop to 6-1 and played the Steelers to a draw in Pittsburgh. No tripping call and it's the Vikings by four in the fourth. A goofy tipped screen pass and they are driving for the winning score.

Now for the afternoon affairs. Three I'm looking forward to. Jets/Raiders and Bills/Panthers? Not so much.

No, you're are right, the pass wasn;t classic Farve pick or anything, I was just more celebrating that the doucebag lost on one of his picks, if that makes sense.

If Cutler makes the same play Favre does, jbergey is all over it.

Cutler usually has 4-5 similiar plays throughout a game though.

What is up in the Miami game?

(11:29) C.Henne pass short right to D.Bess to MIA 44 for 8 yards (R.Gay). Replay Equipment Malfunction- Play not reviewed New Orleans challenged the pass completion ruling, and the play was Upheld. (Timeout #1.)

Miami receiver didn't catch the ball on a third down conversion but it was ruled a catch. Saints challenge. Cue conspiracy theory - home teams equipment doesn't work so the play can't be reviewed.

Exactly what it says, and the replays show it was incomplete. Saints got screwed on that one. Heaven forbid in that instance the refs look up at the scoreboard to see the obvious.

I think it's fair to say Benson is up for the Chicago game. 8 carries for 70 yards in the first quarter.

What was the deal with that dude shoving the girl out of the way when #85 was tossing the ball to her? You could see her gesturing after he almost fell out of the stands, like, "What the fuck, man?"

Saints player spikes the ball in frustration, like players do 10+ times a game and he gets called for a personal foul. Very next play a Dolphins player carries an already tackled(by another player) ball carrier 5 yards down the field, and the ref just tells the Miami guy to watch himself. WTF.

Yes because one quarter on the road against a pretty good team coming off a bye negates the rest of the season.

Once the league office gets a hold of the game tape from the Minnesota-Pitt game, the Vikings Jeff Dugan is going to be out some cash and probably have to sit out a few games.

Every aspect of the Saints team is having their worst game of the season, from Brees to the defense. Giant snowball effect leading to a blowout so far.

In reference to the tripping call, or him taking out the back judge from behind on Harvin's KR?

Taking out the ref that threw the flag on him. It was pretty clear that was his intent.

I saw it live, but I'd like to see it again. I hope it's on the replay shows.

How hard is it to pass a rule that says replay can;t be used by either side during a half in which it suffers an equipment malfunction that prevents one side from challenging.

The review that would have been beneficial for Miami was inside of two minutes, so it was initiated by the booth not Miami.

I watched the play a few times and didn't see it as intentional. I did think it was classless of him to continue running and celebrating the TD without checking on the ref. You are in full pads pal. You hit an old guy who doesn't have pads, maybe the best thing to do is to go back and at least check on him. if they have an angle that shows he did do it intentionally, it shouldn't be money out of his pocket, it should be a multiple game suspension.
