The Falcons are sure not scared to try going deep on the Pats.

Ravens now have 20 penalties for the game. Still 13 minutes left to play.

After this abortion of a game for the Ravens, the Ravens should fire Billick.

What a horrible call in the Falcons/Pats game. I can respect officials are human and they make mistakes. I understand that sometimes things happen. But that call was inexcuseable.

After the game, the ref should be suspended without pay for the next month. The only way you can miss that call is if you are on drugs. One month for a player, one month for a ref.

You know people who wait all game for a single missed call to say this are REALLY cool.

Or they suck, I forget. Take your attitude with any team in the league and you'll see the same things.

What do you mean 'definitive replay'? It was totally clear on the replay they showed. Not even close.

I think they screwed up twice. Once on the initial play, and that was inexcusable - there was a referee right there. And the second time by not allowing the challenge. No one's questioning that he went out of bounds, the challenge would be where he went out of bounds. I don't think the whistle was that quick.

Well, the Falcon shouldn't have put themselves in the situation where one play is so important, but it still just sucks that you get that bad a call at such an important situation.

His foot was inside the HASHMARK. What angle do you need Daddy? If you are curious about the knee, the knee was down within inches of the marker, not four yards. The ref ruled the step on the edge of the damned hash mark was him stepping out of bounds. There is no excuse for missing a call that badly. NONE.

As for the Ravens game, I hope the NFL does some suspending there. If Blillick can't control that team, the organization should be made to pay in some way. How many late hits and unsportsmanlike calls is enough?

Kyle Orton has had a week off to review his mistakes and Cedric Benson will be seeing more time to keep fresh legs in the backfield. Chicago's D will keep them in this game the entire time, while their offense should indeed wake up in Cleveland (Browns 30th overall D). The Bears +3? What a LOCK!

I've mentioned a lot more than today and more often than just after that call. The Patriots routinely get away with a little bit more than most teams. I know it is the equivalent of when Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux used to get strikes that were off of home plate. The Patriots have a reputation for being great, so they usually get a bit more rope than other teams. I'm not the only person that has said it and I won't be the last.

I'm a total patriots fanboy, and I started laughing when they made that call it was so bad. On the replay I thought maybe they were looking at the knee and we'd have a 4th and inches, which they'd go for and get. When I saw they were saying 4th and 4.. Well, I just went back to laughing.

And everyone of you who do say it is full of crap. You have your opinion I have mine. Over the last couple years I have seen more than enough BS calls go against NE. It all balances out in the end. Just like it does for every other team.

Quote:

I know thats my point. You wait all game to say just that. You could do the same for any team in the league.

P.S. The Patriots defense is awful.

I'm not entirely sure how the Falcons are in this game with the injuries on the defense and Vick... but I won't complain.

I only watched the game against San Diego. That was definitely a lot different. I've seen them get away with a lot over the past few seasons that seem to get flagged when other teams do it. It is just one of the perks you get for being the top dog in the league. Everybody knows some of that happens.

I can't believe Detroit has scored 35 points on the Ravens defense.

Oh wait, yeah I can - 21 penalties by the Ravings.

If they overturn this TD, they're definitely cheating for the Patriots more than the umps are for the Astros versus the Braves (and thats a lot).

How can you not challenge this call? You were going to spend a TO anyway, why don't you just use the challenge? If you lose it's the same thing. If you challenge now and lose, you lose another TO?

Is Belli just losing it guys?
