Not sure I've seen anything from Bridgewater that makes him the #1 pick in the draft.

Louisville's D is helped out by the fact that Nova can't throw a fucking pass.

3 and a half hours of my life I'll never get back. Thanks Gary.

Also, if Bridgewater is the #1 overall pick in the draft, I'm the reincarnated Buddha.

It's just another case of the ESPN hype machine building someone up just to tear them down. I've liked Bridgewater since last year, I think he'll be a 1st round pick and a solid NFL QB, but the rush to anoint him and Clowney as the sure 1-2 picks next spring a la Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck was very premature and it leads to ESPN talking about him having an off night the whole time and average fans dismissing him as overrated. When really, that's not a great performance by him but those numbers are about in line with his stats last year and against semi-competent defenses this year (i.e. taking out Ohio, FIU and Eastern Kentucky, which still only leaves Kentucky and Temple). 21-31 301 2td 1 int and 1 fumble is a 166.6 by the crazy college QB rating system, and he averaged a 160.5 last season. If it weren't for ESPN etc. constantly hyping him as the #1 pick, you'd probably view his performance differently and come out of it saying that's a pretty good college QB who needs some more development but could be really good in the NFL in a few years. He's accurate on the move, leads receivers well, has good arm strength and solid pocket presence.

That was satisfying. Nothing like watching RichRod whine and cry his way through a loss to a team that can barely get 50 guys into uniform, just fired their coach a week ago and ended up without a single scholarship WR and 1 scholarship TE on the field for most of the second half.

Got chills seeing gameday in Red Square, brings back great memories. The Husky faithful did us proud! Fowler seemed genuinely surprised how loud and rowdy it was and some really kind words from Herbie. The kids are really fired up for this.

Yeah, I really think U-Dub can knock off the Ducks today, if they can get an early turnover or two. Could be the best game of the day. Similarly, I'm terrified about traveling to Oxford for the same reasons.

Another question today to be answered is if Stoops puts on the brakes against Mack in an effort to keep The Clapper employed in Austin. Or he puts the final nail in the coffin by hanging half a hundred on 'em.

Indiana up 7-0 on MSU on a run which was longer than MSU has given up in average total yards rushing.

Brennan Clay missed a sure TD catch. Game tied 3-3.

Oklahoma forced their first turnover of the day! They dodged a bullet on a roughing the passer penalty a few plays before the fumble. Could have been called targeting but wasn't.

Big play by Texas. Returned a pick by Bell for a TD.

Did the Boy Scout parking lot volunteer thing here in Athens again this morning and I'll note that Mizzou fans were represented pretty darned well in our lot.

The adults I met were about as pleasant a bunch of visiting fans as I've seen, the student aged ones were an easy-going bunch of drinkers & were partying very copaceticly with the locals.

This Texas team is not going lie down on them. Says a lot about the players and the coaching staff. Sooners better figure something out quick or they're going to be in big trouble.

14-7 MSU. They might give up some drives like they did against Iowa, but you aren't going to do much against the Spartan defense on a regular basis. Indiana had the score and another drive of note, but nothing since. I still don't know how good of a team they are since their schedule is rather light until the end, but they remain a hell of a team to take out. This is a team that if they made it to the Big Ten title game would give OSU a run for their money.

Looks like it might be Texas' year. 17-3 after a nice TD pass on a wheel route.

Georgia getting caught in a high scoring game and they don't have the horses to compete.

It doesn't even have anything to do with their injuries. The offense has performed just fine generally speaking. But their defense is just getting run over and they pretty much have the same players on defense they started at the beginning of the season.

Just imagine what the offense would be like if it hadn't already been neutered. Yes, their defense is bad, but they at least had an offense that made them compete with just about anybody. To say the injuries don't have anything to do with the score is looking through some mighty sized rose colored homer glasses.

21-14 MSU. MSU is on pace to post 450 total yards. I know Indiana can score a lot, but their defense needs to show up a bit.

That sack+ fumble wasn't injury induced, that's the same way they got whipped by Clemson in the opener.

And this is the same defense that made the worst offense in the conference look awfully good last weekend.

Exactly. The things that are happening today are the same things that were happening when they had no injuries.

Closed the gap 20-10 after a 73 yard return by Finch and then powered in by Williams. Need a big stop!

Texas returned a punt for a TD but OU blocked the PAT. 29-13.

GA just needs to take Murray off the field. Another interception for the Tigers. He was hit really hard twice on that last drive. They're about to lose him too.

Still a team who's lowest point total before today was 34 and had scored 40+ three times. Huge win by Missouri? Absolutely. Lets just not deny that Georgia's offense was hampered by a good amount.

Best case scenario for the SEC title game would have been 'Bama vs. Georgia, but who knows now. It might require a tie breaker in the East.
