GMU can't let this game to go overtime. They have to hold the lead and win it now.

Ugh. That missed free throw will haunt that kid, if GMU doesnt' manage to win this thing. And I don't see them winning in overtime.

How many lives does UConn have?

I absolutely hate this UConn team. They're the most talented team in the tourney by far, yet the half ass it around for 35 minutes a game. I hope someone beats them.

Agreed. They should've lost to Albany. George Mason won't give this game away, but they need to chill out.

[03.26.2006:15:54] sterlingice: you get the idea that UConn just doesn't care
[03.26.2006:15:54] sterlingice: and that they just won't until there are 5 minutes left in the national title game
[03.26.2006:15:56] TargetPractice: I *just* thought that before you sent me this
[03.26.2006:15:56] TargetPractice: Watching the guy walking over to pick the ball up when it got away from him on the inbounds apss
[03.26.2006:15:56] TargetPractice: I was thinking "down with 2 minutes left I'd run to pick that up"

That's quite the factoid. Will Thomas' teams is 7-0 against Rudy Gay in his personal career, all HS though...still. How funny.

The announcers are seemingly desperate to see UConn win. I think they like that GMU is playing hard, but...I think they're like "ok, cinderella.. go home and let the big boys play."

I was pissed when George Mason eliminated both of my team (North Carolina and Mich. St.)... but am pulling for them now. Have to show respect for what they're doing.

I love how the commentators don't know what to say, because they didn't actually believe it would happen.
