Miami is a great story, more than almost anything I want to see an ACC team that isn't Duke/UNC build and have some consistent success. Miami has seemed kinda close for years now, I really hope they're for real and carry this into the tournament.

I agree that McAdoo isnt even close to ready. He's not nearly as polished as a lot of UNC big men at this point and still is basically just playing only on his athletic ability. He really does need to stay atleast 1 more season. Hopefully, Roy can convince him of this.

What was up with all of them 3 pointers Miami was draining today? Was it just really awful defense or great shooting? I was listening on ESPN radio with Miami announcers so it was hard to know.

Combination of both. A few of them were good contested shots, but many were due to Larkin's penetration and the entire UNC defense collapsing on him. On one of the three's, I counted three Miami players wide open at the arc.

Iowa wins by 15. Marble shakes out of his slump and scores 21. He needs to continue to play well.
We missed about 6 lay ups in the 1st half. Sad.

We have 5 winnable games coming up before Indiana. Though Minny will be a challenge. I would love to be 8-7 in conference going to Indiana.

I love the Kansas fan base. Three losses in a row and they want to bench one of their top players, Self has recruited poorly and put the team in a bad spot and he has no way to coach his way out of this. Nevermind that all but about three schools in the country would trade their coach today for Self.

I know my team has a nutty fan base but we have an excuse. It's easy to get paranoid when they're plotting against you.

I'm pretty upset that I turned it off when Louisville went up 7 with under a minute to play.. figured, ah time to watch House of Cards........ I watched a whole episode, which was good for four overtimes. Now that I'm watching it, it can feel free to end so i can go to bed.

Solid win over New Mexico. Granted, it was at the T&M, but still, good to rebound after that egg we laid in Fresno.

Way to save that timeout in case it was needed.. what did you talk about in the prior time out before you dribbled it around for 25 seconds, coach?

Horseshit call, out of control drive and ref bails out.

Missed 'em both anyway.

Another bad call with Harrell going over everyone's back.

Was awful nice to see Mizzou return the favor to Old Miss today. Pablo Escobar, errrrr, Marshall Henderson has looked utterly clueless over the past couple of weeks.

Just got to get out there and get a road win now. Should have had the last one, but that's the way it goes.

Here's the craziest part of the ND-Louisville game (other then the sheer length)

:50 to play in regulation, Louisville Dunks, 56-48
:44 Grant makes a three (56-51)
:42 Louisville makes two free throws (58-51)
:36 Grant makes another three (58-54)
:33 Louisville makes two more free throws (60-54)
:28 Grant makes ANOTHER THREE (really, Rick Pitino, you didn't say "If the ball gets anywhere in the same county as Grant, foul the SOB so he doesn't hit a three?" (60-57)
:27 Another foul, and finally Louisville blinks, missing two FT (Considering they made their last five, at the college ranks, sooner or later this was going to catch up with them)
:22 Grant gets the ball, drives to the hoop, scores, and one! (yes, that's 12 points in 22 seconds of game time.) (60-60)

Notre Dame was playing with house money from that point on.

The craziest part is those were Grant's only 4 field goals of the game. 4-11 final line.

UMass with an emphatic home win over St. Joe's in a game that got moved back from 2pm to 7pm (and off ESPN2) due to the travel ban. Still hanging around the upper 40's in the RPI, and on the wrong side of the bubble. Travel to VCU next and a win there would almost certainly flip that.

Indiana with a big win possibly.

This helps big time for the Badgers to reach the semi impressive mark that Bo Ryan has never fell below and thats finishing 4th or better every season since he's taken over the program. In order to get there they will have to take care of business Thursday against OSU. It should be another big ten classic game.

Funny seeing the difference in attitude between Brey and Pitino. Brey knows there's no reason his guys should still be playing; has never run with this lineup before; and is as happy-go-lucky as a college coach can be. Meanwhile, Pitino's continually wondering why his more talented team hasn't yet closed out the game, and is constantly anxious or angry.

Was about to say the same thing for Indiana..its about time they get a big B1G road win.. and now Illinois beats Minnesota on the road so they improve their spot inside the bubble. I say they're in as of now. Have more stupid losses on the way and kick em out..

And a nice road win for Illini. This team hasn't responded well to success over the past couple of seasons, so the expected outcome was that the Gophers would drill the Illini. Double-teams on Mbakwe were huge, along with competing on glass and not giving up the transition buckets Minny got in Champaign.

Wow. Rough 10 days for the beakers. Three straight losses and now there are rumors swirling in KC that Bill Self's wife has kicked him out of his home due to infidelity with co-eds at the university. That's going to be one helluva divorce check for his wife.

And the other 1% of the time it's Missouri coach Quin Snyder? Or Larry Eustachy with Mizzou co-eds?

Crazy stuff for the KU/K-State game tonight. Oklahoma St. fans will be rooting for KU to win, because that's their best path to the title. A K-State win makes it difficult for KU or Oklahoma State to catch them. OSU still has KU and KSU at home.

With Arizona losing yesterday and ASU and Oregon dropping games this round as well, it increases the odds significantly that UCLA could end up the regular season Pac 12 champ and #1 seed going into the conference tournament.

And I still want to see Ben Howland removed from his position at the end of the season.

I know, us UCLA fans are crazy.

Yep, injuries definitely change seedings. There is almost zero chance that Kentucky will announce him out for the season. That could be the difference between a 5/6 seed vs a 7-10 seed. That's a major bummer for the young kid. Defensive and rebound specialist.

Well, I am unable to watch the game inside the NICU but it looks like Michigan is getting their asses handed to, which is a bit of a surprise since I thought MSU was kind of overrated a little...but this seems damn impressive to be dismantling UM like this.

Caught some of the first half of the Kentucky-Florida game. Have to say, Kentucky's offense doesn't look so crash hot when they don't have elite isolation players capable of attacking anyone. Florida were shuffling their D from side-to-side and following the ball really well, and Kentucky just looked like they were running a passing drill before being forced to try something when the shotclock started to tick.
