yes I'm Egon. The only scan that isn't dead is Narc on night 1. He scanned clean.

I wanted to give people a chance to vote him before clearing

Unless Narc converted, my theory is completely invalidated. That helps a lot.

He obviously scanned hoops n1 or 2. Which is why he said what he did to lathum.

Thats when I pegged him as our seer.

if we cross the streams, i still have a charge left to fend off ghosts. hence why i didn't want the other (venkman) ghostbuster to reveal just yet

Originally, I voted for Lathum because of his interactions with Chubby. Lathum seemed to take things a bit personally for no good reason which, to me, appeared to be him protesting too much.

I don't see any good reason to move my vote - though Lathum seems to be pressuring me to do so without any proper reason (which also seems a little odd). He's not in any danger with my single vote, and I don't want to contribute moving my vote improperly and contributing to killing a citizen of NYC. I don't have any other clear suspects, though it is possible that I missed something given my beginner status. I'm willing to listen to a compelling argument.

I don't really consider Lathum's posts to be pressuring you to move.

is just questioning why you haven't moved in self-defence.

If you're looking for evidence against people, Narcizo's post 1392 and bhlloy immediate jump onto Narc are pretty damning for bhlloy.

By casting a meaningless vote you could be equally culpable in killing a villager, and I want you to move your vote because I am a villager and we are likely in an end game scenario.

Good play Chubby. Kinda wished it was someone else who's cleared as that doesn't really help my analysis. But I know what its like having bad luck with seer scans. I had something similar in the Jungle Book game.

Don't necessarily think anyone voting me is automatically bad. The problem with my reasoning over bhlloy is that its possible my scenario is correct but just because its possible it doesn't make it likely.

If you are a villager then voting Lathum isn't going to help unless you get people to follow you. Unless you're Venkman. And if you are Venkman I urge you to reveal it so that people can take that into account when analyzing yesterday.

Worth pointing out that, as fontisian said, I could still be the convertee. I actually think my own reasoning are a stronger defence than Chubby's scan.

Except I wouldn't trust anyone claiming that role because it would be an easy gamble for a wolf and hope that the role isn't in the game.

Let's put it this way. If the roleclaims comes in fairly soon, I'd be willing to trust it. If it comes at the end of the day, after everyone has checked in, or from someone who is about to be lynched, it wouldn't be worth much.

I would be very leery of a reveal at this point, it would say more to me that it is a wolf who took the time to plan a fake reveal then a rolled villager coming out.

Unless it is Venkman, who could obviously prove who they were by duking.

If you are vanilla forcing a tie to save yourself is pretty much the worst thing you can do, although we might be in enough trouble it might not be the end of the world. Problem is I'm vanilla too so that would end the game for sure

A tie might not actually be that bad at this point. If it came down to either a tie between me and someone else or me being lynched, I would probably force the tie.

Well, assuming you are vanilla, but nobody believes either of us about being vanilla, we are basically fungible. It's the same risk to the village either way.

Considering that there's only a small chance of the other random death and that if it did occur, there's a good chance that it would hit scum, I would consider it a risk worth taking.

Yeah I can see that font, if we weren't villager - villager, which I think we probably are

I still have a defensive vote to use on Katy but if everyone agrees we should leave it tied and see what happens, I'd probably go along with that. But I'm not sure the math lines up. Crossing the streams is probably a better last ditch option than that

I should clarify that I would make it a tie rather than allowing myself to die, because I know I'm vanilla and my death would pretty much end the game. I do not think that we collectively should go for a tie.

I don't think we want a tie as it might interfere with Venkman's ability to duke the vote. Stop all this at once.

Ooo! I'm going to die tonight probably. Or be converted and get lynched tomorrow if the forces of darkness don't prevail once I join them. I suppose I should make an effort to analyze people and stuff.

Katy if you're villager then you have to vote for the next candidate in self-defence. (well, you kind of have to do that if you're a wolf as well otherwise it just isn't cricket). If you're a villager then you know you are - you don't know about the other guy. Some people actually lie in this game.

A vote on Lathum at this point is a waste of time. Especially as the one cleared guy and the one semi-cleared guy both have Lathum high on their trust list. Apparently.

probably 3 wolves, 3 villagers (one Venkman) and one uncertain. You'd have thunk we would be able to hit a wolf in that or we should all hang our heads in shame.

Thinking about yesterday. The wolves are going to expect Katy to be scanned if she survives. Are the other two going to vote her opponent to keep her alive? When she doesn't even do it herself. Is this whole laissez faire business a cunning wolf ruse?

Bhlloy - you argument for voting me was that there must be a veteran player on the wolf side. You mentioned me or Autumn, how come you aren't making a pitch for it being Autumn. Or arguing that I've been converted (that's pretty much been my line about you, after all). Looks to me like you're trying to attach your vote anywhere you think it will stick. I've a feeling that you're proclaiming Katy's innocence to get her lynched tomorrow if you're a wolf and get lynched tonight. But hopefully that's something Spengler will be able to look into.

I don't think I'm going to move my vote. If that screws the vote up then Venkman will just have to use his duke power.

OK. That post didn't actually go the way I was intending at the outset. I was going to go through each of the candidates and see if I could find any sort of connection or whatnot. Anyway.

The easiest thing would be for the wolves to be Bhlloy, Katy and fontisian.

Anyway, good luck village!
