Despite the low score, this has been a very entertaining first half and Curry just had an incredible move.

Nice move by Curry. Is this guy going to be a lottery pick when the time comes?

The rap on him is that he's too small to be an impact player in the league. But if they can manage to make it to the Final Four, maybe the hype machine will propel him to that level. He's remarkably grounded for a college sophomore and his family doesn't need the money, so I doubt he'd see any real need to leave early, unless he's somehow bored with the college game.

Did anyone else want to punch that stupid Kansas cheerleader for getting in your face when you were just trying to watch a basketball game? I know I did.

Considering that Davidson is shooting in the mid 30s and Kansas is shooting in the mid 40s, that says a lot about Davidson's chances in the second half (real nice chance)

No matter the end result, this first half of Davidson was just inspired. Kansas is so damn clearly the more talented team but Davidson just ignores that fact. I mean, on the offensive end guys like Sanders and Lovedale are their 3rd/4th best players and they have absolutely no chance 1:1 against any of the players guarding them. But still they and every other of those kids just plays their hearts out and cherishes good plays and just ignore it when they get outplayed. I have rarely seen a whole team be that damn active and enthusiastic without being overeager or missing assignments on defense.
And it´s not like Kansas is playing bad or even lacking energy.

And btw how about Richards ? That guy is awesome, incredibly smart player.

And the moment describing Davidson´s approach best was when they forced a timeout by Kansas and the camera catches their Coach McKillop smiling all over his face like they just won the whole thing.

I just hope that Davidson continues this way, great, great effort by them. What they need to stay away from is trying to press Kansas, the few times they did they got burned pretty easily and that would play into Kansas´s hands. Better stick with just the rebounder or the closest guy to the basket pressuring on the outlet like they did with great success and everybody else going back quickly.
Because the margin for error is really small as it´s really not like Kansas is playing terrible or isn´t as talented as they clearly are.

Completely agreed. To me, this has been the most entertaining Elite 8 game because of that.

I don't want four 1 seeds and the way Davidson is playing is unbelievable! #14, Sanders I believe is an amazing guy to watch. He is mixing it up, getting offensive rebounds on one end and guarding Chalmers on the other. I really hope they can hit some shots and get their rematch with North Carolina.

Davidson is so quick adjusting defensively. It seems like every time a KU player gets the ball he's got at least three guys in his face.

Is there a coach you'd rather be going for an upset over than Bill Self? Short of bringing back Jim Boeheim ca. 1990 back to life I can't think of one.

Also, the very underrated part of Curry is how worn out Rush is from chasing him. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense.

Why does the clock continue to run after baskets are made? Does something different happen at the end of games?

In another college game, at the end, the clock was stopping after each bucket, teams were making substitutions, and the clock would not start again until a player on the court touched it, the ball would roll to mid court with the clock starting. This caused the game to go on forever.

Sorry, for the question, but after the last Davidson bucket, Kansas stood around waiting for a particular player to inbounds the ball and the clock continued to run the whole time. And, I thought WTF!

It's a running clock until the last 2 minutes.

#15 on Davidson looks like a 20 year old Nick Nolte.

He has the poise of a pro, does Curry. I know he has the advantage of having been raised by one. But man, he plays like he's been there before and you just gotta love it from a kid who doesn't seem to be fazed by the fact that this whole thing is a huge deal.

Do you drawn down the clock and take the 3 to win it? Or do you try to make a quick 2 to tie it and put the pressure on Kansas?
