HOUSTON -- A teacher who was found with a 16-year-old during a traffic stop has been arrested, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday.

Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies said Rebecca Ann Bramlett was arrested in Galveston and booked into the Fort Bend County Jail on a sexual assault charge.

Bramlett was caught with the teen at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday and told detectives that the boy was her boyfriend, officials said.

Fort Bend Independent School District officials said Bramlett was put on administrative leave from her position at Baines Middle School on Monday, but she resigned on Tuesday. Bramlett had worked in the school district since 2000.

Bramlett's bond was set at $500,000.

Heh, I used to live in Coral Springs, and my brother went to public high school there. On So You Think You Can Dance, there is this hot school teacher in the top 20 and my first thought was that she's probably had to be very careful around her students given all of these incidents.
