Let's not make this out to be more than it is - there are four people within one vote right now. It isn't just a two-man race. I don't think he has to vote for one of the top two. However, I don't think either Crim is likely to end up as the lynch guy tonight, based upon multiple people suggesting they trust him.

We get a bad lynch, I must be a wolf
We get a good lynch, I must have moved my vote to conceal being a wolf

Right now, the two people I seem to trust the most voted for me twice (Eaglefan) and one of that I've not spoken to at all (Olliegirl). Hoops, you've slipped a bit because I'm not sure where to place you in all this.

Sarcastic answer - welcome to werewolf, particularly in the later stages.

Nicer answer - the problem isn't a vote on Crim, per se. It is the fact that this is a critical vote that has a good chance of ending up in a tie based upon the current makeup. Since you are the only person with a single vote on a person, you are drawing more attention.

Alright, Hoops, based on what you said, I'm going back over the top four and making a choice. I'm drawn to two of them and I'll see what I can come up with. This should make everyone happy and set me up to be lynched tomorrow.

Cheer up, you could always be night killed

Or, you could end up being the tie-breaking vote on a wolf and be a frigging hero.

Hoops, the way things are going, if I'm on the wolf, people (and yeah, you would probably be one at this point) would say that it was a must do move to cover myself by sacrificing another wolf. I'm learning the paranoia aspect of this game. brb, reading more posts.

Finally, the Chief Rum and St. Cronin discussion bugged me. I originally put it on St. Cronin but there is doubt creeping in on the other side as well.

IF RendeR is a wolf, his kill of Barkeep is really a ballsy play that paid off for a long time but I don't think I buy it. Or he's very clever and I am very dense.
I see that you unvoted for Crim, if you are equally suspicious of cronin then that seems like a logical place to put your vote.

If you have that much conviction on Crim, go ahead and vote for him; i dont think anyone waa trying bully you, we were just pointing out how your vote for Crim would be interpreted...

Ollie, your advice is appreciated. I think I'm going a different route but one that still could make a big difference.

Purdue, make sure you have an unvote in for your vote - don't want to leave it in the hands of the moderator to interpret.

No, I think the guy I think is the most likely bad guy was trying to play head games and put his vote somewhere he didn't think I'd go. I've already said I think either you or Chief is bad.

Hoops, I assume that is directed at me. Yes, I am (behind perhaps Crim). I said it earlier that I think Cronin is the Goth and I may be wrong but I've said it all day (so at least I get to stand by that conviction). So that meant to me that the argument with Chief was to draw Chief's attention to him. So yeah, this is where I'm going.

I didn't say he was clueless, I said he seems like a first time wolf. And first time wolves oftentimes try to get too clever.

OK, at some later point in the game - hopefully sooner rather than later - I'm expecting to get some real mileage out of this vote today. People were put in positions where they had to make choices today, which makes me think that this was our best vote to review since Day 1. Better, more likely, once we have some context.
