Its certainly possible, but Memphis is going to have a hell of a time beating Texas in Houston.

Methinks you're setting the bar for "Cinderella" too high, on some expectation that every Cinderella has to be like George Mason. Really, historically, anyone below a 5 is a Cinderella through the Elite 8. And anyone in a Final Four lower than a 3 is a fair description of a Cinderella, too, IMO.

Davidson is the definition of a Cinderella in all respects.

Long way to go yet, but I have to admit - my bracket be damned - I'd love to see Love and Hansbrough at it in the final.

I guess if WVU had won, then it would be a good game. But, really, it felt like Xavier had it in hand most of the game and then let it slip away- it wasn't some big herculean effort by West Virginia to get back in with a bunch of threes falling. Personally, I didn't find it all that exciting.

This game is like watching a replay of the Texas-USC game in the second round last year. Augustin is completely off his game.

Just saw this off of a link on the WVU board about "why everyone hates Duke." It is only 15 seconds long, but fairly disturbing in Kyle Singler's behavior:

With Atchley out, it just looks like everyone on Memphis is taller than everyone on Texas.

Yea, the UNC board has been all over this for a few days. I honestly want to try and find a way to justify it, because even most of us Carolina fans don't think that everyone at Duke is a complete douche, but I really can't justify this.

The general consensus is that he either a) grabbed his jersey or b) tried to give what we used to call titty-twisters.

It's not a big deal, but it's just a bitch move. When I see that idiot playing basketball I will just remember this, and how much of a bitch I think he is. So if my opinion matters, then yeah, it's a big deal!

Well, I do think it's a somewhat of a big deal in terms of Duke, where we hear all the time about character, leadership, etc. from Coach K in his commercials, Pressers, everything. This kid obviously did something that doesn't reek of character, even if it isn't actually a really big deal.

Full Disclosure: I am a die-hard Carolina fan.

I'd love to see Davidson keep the dream going. It's fun to watch, especially from such a small liberal arts college (though not a bad endowment at all...) to be at this level is really neat.

Cartman based on what i know isn't like some other fans on this board, seems to me, that he is a mellow fellow compared to some of the other die-hard fans on this board.

If you would have told me that Texas would have made it to the Elite 8 the season after Durant left, I wouldn't have believed you. They had a great run this season, too bad it will end with their worst performance of the season.

I hate these last 3 minutes of college basketball games.

Memphis is up by 15 and these last 3 minutes are going to take forever.

Miami was down by 15 to Texas with four minutes to play, and got the game to be decided on the final possession.

But Memphis is shooting lights out from the free throw line.

You can't blame Texas considering the FT troubles Memphis has had this year. Although, I agree that I would just like to get onto the next game which will hopefully be more competitive.
