The group gathers. "We MUST find an Insider tonight!"
A debate begins. It's Barkeep, nor it's lerriuqs, no it has to be Autumn. After aheated back and forth debate the crowd turns towards Autumn. He begins to plead. "Please, spare me." Ignoring his pleas you move towards him. Poli grabs a stapler off a nearby desk and heads towards Autumn. "That is MY STAPLER!!!!!" Chief Rum charges Poli and rips the stapler from his hands. Chief Rum begins to unleash his rage on Poli until he slumps lifeless to the ground. Everyone watches in stunned silence. Eventually you inspect the body and find an ID badge, it reads Nina. Poli was Nina, the cunning Insider. Maybe this was the break you needed? |

Thank God for Rum. Poli was definitely someone I was suspicious of, which is why I kept nudging him to talk, but couldn't build any sort of case around (not to mention my case building hasn't been too good this game).

Alright, so assuming the 4 starting wolves and a convert, we are now 7-3. Not great, but we can do this. The only downside from the duke is we still don't have any idea what to make of any voting so far in the game.

Wow, this was quite a nailbiter to read after the fact. Thanks Chief. I know nobody still knows if I'm a villager, but I am, so that was a huge coup that could swing the game.

Ok, I just think it's easy to say after the fact how someone was suspicious. Frankly, while he no where near my trust list and I did not like day 1 vote at the time, Poli never jumped out to me as a wolf. |

This voting record could tell us a little something. I tend to think better of Lerriuqs at first blush. The fact that he went for Martin at first instead of me doesn't seem wolfish. He would have perfectly good reason to pile on me and not get any blame even when I turned out good.
But then again we did have a last minute surge to switch to me instead of him, so that makes me suspicious of him and those who switched the tide. |

After the run on Lerriques after my initial vote, I started to think both you and BK were wolves. I'm still not convinced that's not the case, atlhough BK last minute switch to you might throw that off. |

Another note, Poli voted barkeep. He coudlnl't have expected getting blindsided like that, so that might tell us something. Then again it was a throwaway vote on someone who only garnered two votes.

All right, so when Poli voted nearly no one had voted yet today. He knew he was going to be out so iit was possible the crowd would go against barkeep still. That makes me think a bit better of BK, since presumably Poli wouldn't want to leave a vote against his teammate and then leave, not knowing if that might be a killer vote.

Whoopee!
I wish I could say I had some big revelation, but it was just another gut call. Poli is usually pretty vocal. I just suddenly realized today he really had been very uncharacteristically quiet. It was as close to a tell I could come up with. There were mentions, like lerriuqs today, BK yesterday, but for the most part Poli had gone without much comment. Add in that there was near to no suspicioun of him today either. My thinking today was literally, "We're a bunch of screw up--so it has be to the guy no one's really talking about; we're just that wrong." Luck of all luck, I was right.

Nice call Chief. Looking back through the voting I'm hesitantly trusting of Barkeep and Lerriuqs at this point. My best guess is telling me the wolves were okay with either of me or Lerriuqs and willing to let the dice fall. I'd be interested to see what other people make of the voting record though.
So, I'm looking at Abe, USFL, Danny, Martin and dubb93 right now as my new suspects. Chief, like you, I'm thinking it's the people not getting any attention we have to worry about. |

I'm still not sure about any of you, though I do agree that BK looks a little better now. Still, with a brutal wolf out there, if I wolf has been up for lynch, I wouldn't be surprised if there have been wolf-wolf votes.

Everyone makes their way into the meeting room and waits. Confusion and fear make the mood very tense.
Several minutes go by. You look around. Everyone is in the room. The silence is broken by an announcement. "The reorganization has been rescheduled for Wednesday at noon." You have made it through another day in what has been the longest week of your life but what awaits you? As you leave the room you prepare for your meeting at 11, you must find another Insider. You must end this terror. |

Poli's vote history was his Day 1 vote on Schmidty, Day 2 on pass of course, Day 3 he voted for martin, then unvoted and voted for barkeep, day four he voted for me, and today votes for Barkeep.

Hmmm - Things may be looking up a bit if we duked a UTR wolf AND got a block.

Two nights in a row? How odd.
I'm sure we had either a BG block or Drew hit one of the days, but IMO, if the wolves are doing this well at keeping us off balance, and we're not threatening any of them, they may well have decided not to make a kill, to confuse us. It's a tactic I've seen Lerriuqs use in the past, and it's not a tactic I've seen used around here in the few other games I've read through. I'm still not completely sold on him being a wolf, but I'm feeling a bit better about him being one after two straight nights of no kill. |

It's also conceivable that the wolves have an ability we're not aware of that they can choose to do instead of a kill.
Another possiblity is that they have to take turns making the kill and for some reason no one was available tonight. For example if Poli had been the only one able to do it. |

This is why I revealed, I knew I could be safe for three days: Last night a self guard (and was sort of hoping they would come after me and I would block), the mask as a disguise tonight allowing me not to be viewable AND still protect somebody (who better to protect than the one that just pissed them off), and then tomorrow, if I choose, I can self protect or fake self protect.
