Missed this. Honestly because I felt that way at that point. First game Britrock > UTR Julio. Really the whole happiness thing sucked for a game I have no idea what is going on. My trust list is 2 right now, so having to come up with 7 really sucked. And I didn't know that I would save britrock either. Had I known that, I might have put more thought into it at the time |

Personally not got a good feeling about BritRock going down here - but also want to see a BIG different in the votes before the deadline if possible in case anyone has hidden voting powers again .... last thing we need is a tie.

This is a great point, but I also agree that wolves probably wouldn't let one of their own slip to the bottom. That being said, britrock was also there because he was highly suspicious and voting for him would have drawn that suspicion their way. They might have decided using the power and having another wolf come out to say "I did that, my bad" was the best way to save him, where we'd ask the least amount of questions and hopefully avoid just stringing him up the next day. Looking back, the Happy List was pretty much going to be a villager losing unless we had someone dead-to-rights, but like I said earlier, there was a lot more voting insight to be gained with it. I have maintained that I'm a villager throughout. (Of course, a wolf would say the same.) But I can tell you this about the most recent test: bhlloy received a cube from CF, used it to press a button, received the blue portal device, and used it during the happy test to surreptitiously alter the vote.
As a result of this, I was saved. I also have come to believe, despite an early suspicion of him and after wrestling with the motivations for his voting for / saving me in the happy test, that he is a villager, because he saved another villager. Today, the orange portal device is in play. Someone who has already voted for PF has it. I don't know how powerful it is, exactly, but there may increase the power of that person's vote. Unfortunately, that has no bearing on the question of whether this race is V/V, V/W, W/V, or W/W. But I've stated my belief at this point that bhlloy is a villager because he was able to obtain and use the blue portal device. I've mentioned that someone else obtained the orange portal device and voted for PF. And I'll leave it at that. |

Hmmm. Well this is all conjecture, but you're trying to get us to believe that you got saved by the blue device, and if we kept the votes close you might be saved once again, this time by the orange device, which is in the possession of someone who voted for PackerFanatic? How would you know that anyway, unless one of your buddies outside the thread had it? String this wolf up. |

Oh, I should focus on your incentive for voting instead of mine: lynch me and the wolves could very well win tonight.

There's no proof that having a portal would make one a villager. But given our observations of the difficulties the villagers have had with the game thus far, doesn't it seem that it would be unfair for a wolf to have a portal device? How would lynching a player with a portal device affect the villagers' ability to go forward? I don't know if bhlloy's device is effective once again in tonight's vote. But if it did, it seems crucial at this stage of the game, where there are fewer villagers who can collaborate to lynch the same number of wolves that we started with.

Look at it this way: I'm saying enough now that I'm probably easy prey for tonight's night kill. Voting elsewhere may give the village an extra chance at a wolf while you still get to satisfy your curiosity about me, courtesy of the wolves.

I was a VV for the first several days. I received a storage cube on Friday, and used it to press one of the buttons that was presented to us later that day. Over the weekend, I learned that the orange portal device's power was that it may affect my vote.

I agree that if you're not a wolf, you'd almost certainly be nightkilled with what you're representing. And I am right on the cusp of believing you, despite the convoluted means of getting here. I just feel like if I switch my vote, and you still hang and turn out to be a wolf, I'd be next and that would lose a much-needed day for the villagers. I guess even though I all of a sudden don't feel great about this lynch, unless sentiment turns strongly in your favor I wouldn't be comfortable with switching my vote. |

A night kill isn't assured btw. we still alledgedly have a protector out there.
So if you are really interested and are a villager with power or a role.. you better stop being vague and put it all on the table now.. |

Oh my... I just don't get why all of this is coming to light now. I begged players to start sharing information early. Now instead we are left to scramble and decide how much truth there is versus a last minute ploy.

Well, this is the first test for which the orange device is in play. I didn't see much benefit to talking about it (and although I know the impression will still be that I'm being vague, I'm giving you all I have -- remember this is a game where things are being revealed to us slowly, and there is no exception here) until the two-horse race of earlier today took a turn for the worse. |
