Thanks for playing though, always entertaining to hear your own unique brand of ridiculousness.

They pulled Scott's offer before he even committed and decided to give it to a little known guy name Marcus Denmon. Around Missouri, we tend to value players who receive all-conference honors in college, not high school.

Didn't look like it mattered. Lucas has a sprained ankle, but yet is still kicking. If they get their act together, it will be interesting to see how well they do. MSU likely HAD to win this game. Purdue knew they were in and weren't getting a one seed unless a lot fell their way.

Yep, Denmon being named to the Big 12 Media's All-Reserve team is quite the prestigious honor.

Whoo-wee, the Badgers fell behind early 16-2; not scoring until the 13 minute mark. UGLY!!

At least they'll have the opportunity to pull within 5 or better by halftime though.

BYU 47 UNM 42

Jimmer with 33 at the end of the half.

UNM is attack and spreading it around...Jimmer is BYU tonight. Abuo is the unheralded player for BYU.

Please. Suggs would already be a star for Mizzou due to less competition in front of him. Nice spin though, I would expect no less from someone as delusional as you.

Certainly not a pretty game and PSU only scored two points in the final ten minutes of the half...

I'm guessing first to 50 wins. About 50 will win, too.

4 points in 14+ minutes now for Penn St.

edit: might have to change that number to 40.. first to 40 wins.. lol

Texas beats A&M for the 3rd time this season, setting up the Big 12 Tourney title game against Kansas. Should be a great game, as Kansas surely has a metric buttload of revenge queued up from the game at Lawrence earlier this season.

Ugh, 74-72 UNLV loss to SDSU. Kruger called for a weak ass play out of the timeout.

Now we're likely stuck in the #8/9 seeding.

52 points in the end for fredette, holy shit virtually no FTs, too. 22-37 shooting, that´s insane.

I hope for a UConn vs BYU game in the tournament

It isn't like they would have jumped up much higher even if they had won their conference tourny. Would have been nice to win it, but I doubt it would have elevated them past a 7 seed.

It was crazy to watch. It was also something special for Cougar fans as he just broke the Cougar scoring record (Set by Danny Ainge) and the MWC scoring record.

Oh I agree, but that 7 seed is a much better place than the likely 8/9 seed we'll get now. Having to play the 1 seed in the second round sucks.

Anything – and I do mean ANYthing – will be an improvement over this empty suit. Neither scandal nor thug ball nor winless season would be any worse than the utter hopelessness of the program under Paul Useless. Any of those issues can be solved whereas nothing was going to improve under the current incompetent regime. Those other possibilities are problems, Hewitt WAS the problem.

Normally, I'm someone who rails against hyperbole that "OMG, THEZE COACH ES HORRIBLE HE DONT KNOWS HOW TO COACH!" because, most of the time, the guy is a decent motivator/strategizer but he just doesn't know how to put his talent in the best position to succeed.

In this case, however, Hewitt really is just a horrible coach. Great recruiter, but I believe the team would have been better off with one of the other players just coaching the team.

Yeah... that UTEP game was just a classic, building-wide sphincter tightening. When they couldn't put Memphis away after going up 62-50, the players look like they knew they were going to blow it, the coaches look like they knew they were going to blow it, and the fans sounded like they knew they were going to blow it. Ouch indeed.

With former UNO coach Floyd and former UNO guard Carmouche on opposite sides, I had mixed feelings, so I'll just be happy for Charles Carmouche getting to start in the NCAA tournament, even though he was horrible in this game.

I dunno if my heart can take another game like this in the ACC final. Today UNC spots Clemson a 14 point lead in the first half and comes back to win in overtime, scoring the last 7 points in regulation and the first 9 in OT. Harrison Barnes was unbelievable. 6-8 from 3, 10-11 at the line, 40 points/8 boards. Marshall was not good today, no matter who they play tomorrow there has to be a turnover free start without instantly falling behind by double digits!

If this Memphis team could get their collective heads out of their asses, they could make the Sweet 16. But, they don't know how to play together or play smart. Also, if Barton goes pro next year, he's a moron.

I think the resume for an at large is actually pretty good, but I just don't see a chance in hell of it happening.

The Purdue win was nice, but one stand out game for every 3 to 4 isn't the makings of a tourney run and it's their signature all season long. If they get that one impressive win, you know the next one is a a loss if it's against a credible team.

Texas is lucky to only be down 15 at the half. Kansas is hitting everything, while Texas couldn't get shots to drop.
