That's not much a twist, if you ask me. I'm good at every fighting skill. Does this mean I'm not vanilla? I consider someone who doesn't have night actions or a role of any kind as vanilla, but maybe that's just me.

So you rate as good in all 5 categories you claim?

B/C at this point if I had to name 4 suspected Musketeers they would be Warlord, you, Tyrith and NTN. If two of those can fight to the death and 1 can be condemned today I believe we are very close to a victory. The truth hurts sometimes. |

aaargh. lost another post.
quick recap: ntn...sorry i accused you of being quiet, that was a mistake. my eyes just must have glazed over at some point with all i was reading. interesting (and fitting) that blade seems compelled to fight. I find that strangely amusing. i want to wait a little while to see how things swing and where my vote would be useful, but i definately don't think that setting up a duel is to our advantage anymore, we are starting to gather enough information that it doesn't seem to make sense. Jon has raised my eyebrows a bit, and off the top of my head I think that my vote might be cast in his direction tonight, but i need to go back and reread some things before I actually decide. as for me...I am a charming lad. My skills in fighting are distinctly average, in fact I prefer to talk my way out of scrapes rather than engage with the sword or the pistol. My words are my weapons of choice. I get no cool night actions, merely sleeping in my quarters. |

Vote Jonathan
Since I happen to be fairly certain dubb has been on the up on up about his role. He's wrong about me, but that doesn't make him evil. I'm not all that great in duels, but Jonathan is my biggest suspect, and either way it goes, we'll learn something. |

I rate good in almost every category. And Dubb, i dont plan on asking just anybody to duel. I will wait for a suggestion, or somebody to become extremely suspicous.... But if you have any ideas, let me know

Has anybody cleared BrianD? I really think he is a pro at having a lot of posts, but still being under our radar. IF nobody has vouched for him I think we should put some pressure on him. Or I could duel him

Where I'm at is, if she is confident she is a good dueler, by all means challenge one of the untrusted people so long as she does not have an important role, which she claims not to. If she fears she will die, I don't want to lose someone that is cleared at this point. But she claims to be a good dueler, so by all means challenge someone if she wants. |

I don't mind the challenge of Brian, as he is trying to lay low. LSG challenging one of the unconfirmed players raises her up on my trust list. I would think a musketeer wouldn't do that.

Now we wait on brian, although I find this whole situation funny. Every other challenge has been over someone being pissed off about something. This one was just kinda out of the blue. She even seems kind of unsure about it after issuing the challenge

I'm not sure what to make of Brian. He has been pretty UTR and his votes have been low risk as well. The only thing that makes me pause on pulling the trigger on voting for him is this exchange he had with hoops earlier:
Quote:
He could be bluffing and just trying to save himself by making it look like he has a role or information. If no one comes along to react to his statement, I'll vote for him. |

DaddyT - are there any benefits to your "charming" nature - something similar to what Lathum had yesterday? Or is that 100% flavor with no impact on the game mechanics?

JE, I did go looking for Brian's comment on the "writing desk" and it was the first one he made on Day 2. So he wasn't bluffing about making the comment.

DT, given this role what were your thoughts earlier in the game when Fouts was implying Duke on Day 1 and Lathum was saying near the end of Day 2 that he would influence the vote? This had to strike you as a little weird if it matched up with your ability, right? I would love for you to be able to point to a post or two along the way that suggest your thoughts on this matter.
You have voted for NTN each of the last two days, so obviously it didn't freak you out that much ... |

Here are the final votes from the last couple of days:
Day 1 votes: (6) Fouts – Chief Rum (194), Alan (261), Jonathan (264), Izulde (314), Lonestargirl (473), SnDvls (504) (5) Izulde - Path (412), Hoopsguy (421), St.cronin (426), Ntndeacon (434), Mr.Wednesday (439) (3) Dubb - Barkeep (120), Lathum (160), Fouts (484) (3) Ntndeacon - Tyrith (301), DaddyTorgo (310), BrianD (505). (2) St.cronin - Anxiety (209), Blade (539) (1) Hoopsguy - Coffee Warlord (271) (1) Tyrith - Dubb (378) Day 2 votes: 5 Ntndeacon – Tyrith (719), DaddyTorgo (766), Jonathan Ezarik (865), Barkeep (878), Mr. W (888) 4 Lathum – Dubb (823), hoopsguy (873), SnDvls (875), LSG (877) 2 Anxiety – Fouts (838), Coffee Warlord (857) 1 DaddyTorgo – BrianD (739) 1 SnDvl – Path (793) 1 Fouts – Anxiety (835) 1 LSG – Blade (855) 1 Mr. Wednesday – Lathum (922) Not Voted: ntndeacon Not Present: st.cronin Observations related to the six non-matched candidates: 1.) SnDvls voted with Jonathan on Day 1. I believe the "wolves" would try to land on unique candidates as much as possible. They were on the leading vote-getter (Fouts) who had 30% of the vote. 2.) Tyrith and DaddyTorgo voted together each of the last two days, both times on NTN. I think it is very unlikely that both are "wolves" but increasingly likely that one of them is a vote as they stayed away from SnDvls' candidate 3.) BrianD voted along with Tyrith and DT on Day 1, went solo on a candidate on Day 2 4.) Coffee voted solo on me yesterday, was not matched up with any of the other six "unmatched" candidates on Day 1. 5.) NTN voted for Izulde on Day 1 (one of the pile-ons late) and did not vote on Day 2. |

it does weird me out that lathum+fouts both have some type of duking ability. i did point out along the way (don't remember the post #, but it's there) that the only way that made sense is if they were on opposite sides for balance. one a chevalier, one a cardinals guard? i don't consider my role to be "duking" because it's more just being able to choose the method of combat and not being able to shift the vote onto someone else. sure i can delay my death for a day, but that doesn't really do me any good. i can't AVOID it. Might come in handy later in the game though, when that extra day could buy us time and keep me out of harm's way (I gather it involves seclusion in my room). My NTN vote on day 1 was the usual random day-1 vote, and on day 2 I wanted to put pressure on him to try to get him more involved, and also as part of pushing a duel...there was the talk about a fouts/ntn duel don't forget. i have no intention of voting for him tonight, but i also don't feel that a fouts/lathum showdown is in our best interest right now, particularly with the chevaliers presumably so weakened that they post little threat, I think we can learn more from having both of them alive as they've been very active. |

Hmm, with the new information out there, I'd like to see a showdown between Brian and DT. What happens to tonights lynch/duel if DT is one of the 2 highest vote getters? Do we get nothing?

Well guys, I hope I was helpful today. I plan on being out until well after the deadline and when I show up later tonight I'll probably be plenty drunk. Hope we get lucky today and get another musketeer. My only major regret for the day is I never got around to breaking down SNDVLS posts and votes. Hoops appears to have done a little bit of it, but if anyone would like to be helpful and go there now is the time. Obviously I don't really expect anyone to do this, as I myself did not.
Also, I'm a little worried about the serious lack of votes at this point. We are what, an hour away from the deadline? And we have no clue where we are going? Something smells fishy with this vote. |

I asked Hoops about the "writing desk" because I was listening at his door on night 1. I heard a woman in his room giggling and asking if she made a good writing desk.
I can watch people to see who they are targeting, but I don't wait around long enough to see what they are doing. |
