Seer seems like a strong possibility, with special blade color (gold) + trance + eyes closed.

I'm lost on the blade. The eyes closed bit, though. That sounds like it could have been seer. I had been leaning towards Lathum as the seer. Maybe he was the witness, or a similar role. Those closed eyes just feel too important here. |

A quick Google search shows those who wield yellow lightsabers are known to have developed an enhanced ability for Jedi mind tricks.

Not sure. The only stuff I can find with Sith using yellow is when the lightsaber is a double one.

OK, so the theory is that yesterday Jedi Tangle moved Taz's vote, then tried to get his vote in as the 5th against Jedi Qwikshot to break a 4-4 tie one minute after the deadline? Just want to make sure I'm following the argument ...

Ok, found a solid reference to yellow lightsabers in KOTOR. The Jedi that has a yellow saber is in the role of sentinel. Does that match up to any known roles?

Good news is that we have not seen anyone die with a bright azure weapon, so I believe the bodyguard is still out there.
Guardians (blue) - mckerney, bodyguard Consulars (green) - Eaglesfan, Schmidty Sentinels (yellow) - QwikShot, Tanglewood Sith (red) - Dubb (if lavender counts?) Not defined - Alan T, Superman, Lathum Until I see something that indicates otherwise, I'm going to assume that Saldana was just messing with Lathum by sticking him with a pink weapon. And I'm not sure where to stick Dubb, since his death post read to me like he isn't true Sith. |

I believe Lathum specifically requested a pink light saber so I don't think anyone should read much into it.

Well, I'm open to suggestions. I had Taz and Tangle together...but obviously that's not true.
I'd like to hear theories on some of the others.

So much of the information in this game is suspect.
Q: How many Sith are there? Q: Was Dubb a Sith, just not the night assassin? Q: Is the seer alive? Q: Did a Jedi or a Sith move the vote last night? I don't even know if we are running out of time because we don't have the answer to the first question. If it are only two then we are still fine, although it certainly doesn't feel that way with all the dead Jedi. |

As far as what I believe is going on, based on the questions I posted:
2 Sith Dubb was not a Sith (wolf), but a sorceror or some similar special role Seer is dead, but hope to be wrong here Sith moved the vote As of right now, those are the assumptions I'm going to be making if/when I'm around tomorrow. But if anyone feels that one of these assumptions is wrong I would love them to chime in (no seer reveal requested) between now and tomorrow morning with their thoughts. |

If the seer is alive, it might be a good time to let us know at least what he does, because as far as I can see we've got nothing. I really thought we were getting somewhere with Tangle, so I'm open to any suggestions.

What makes you think a Sith moved the vote? The implication I get was that Tangle moved it and then tried to follow-up it up with a coup de grace. |

That seems to be the case, but if the Jedi have that ability, what stops the Sith from also having it? The inverse is also true. I don't think we can assume it's in the arsenal of only one side or the other. |

I agree that we can assume nothing, but the timing of the events seems to indicate that Tangle was behind that specific occurance.

Because after reading the Wikipedia site on lightsaber colors I didn't see anything that clearly indicated an affinity for Jedi mind tricks. I would think the non-combatants (Consulars - green) would be more likely to use mind powers than the balanced class (Sentinels - yellow).
Cartman, if you can post the link for what you were looking at in Post #1253 that might be helpful ... |

Would Tangle have made that play if he wasn't going to explain it afterwards, and then not show up all day today? I know that stuff happens in real life that moves schedules around, but I haven't seen anything in his previous game play that would indicate that kind of activity.
The only way that scenario makes sense to me is if he not only had the ability to move a vote, but also was 100% sure on Taz being innocent. Otherwise, where is the gain on that play? For the Sith, the play creates confusion because we don't know why they moved the vote. For strategic purposes, to set someone up, or just create chaos? Makes more sense to me. |

Well Tangle lives in England, so his schedule is different which explains some of the lack of communication. It happens in every game he plays in. He obviously favored Taz over Qwik, so must have thought Taz was innocent. Or somehow thought Qwik was a Sith. I can think of why he wouldn't want to volunteer that it was him since you paint a nice bullseye on your head.

I can also understand why you wouldn't want to volunteer the information. However, if it was a one-time use then I'm not sure it is an enormous bulls-eye. People would have to choose whether or not to believe your intentions. The Sith would probably try to hit a higher-profile role with their night actions.
I completely get that this can be interpreted either way. Which is why I posed the question in the first place ... not knowing the answer is making me less confident in assumptions based on my interpretation of the event. OOC: In that respect, this has been a really great and challenging game of werewolf. But maddening as well. |

Ok, if the seer has information on a few people that would really help us out at this point. I still have a bad feeling about AE and Hoops being alive this late in the game does not make me feel very comfortable either.

It seems to me that everyone is convinced that the Sith can force people to change their votes. The only evidence that we have of this is the word of Ardent. Personally I think that AE and his Sith buddy invented this idea. No one else has been forced to vote for someone other than who they wanted. The whole concept of this does not fit with saldana's description of this as a simple game. I don't buy it one bit, and I think that too many of us have fallen for AE's trick. It is time to end his charade.

The nights seem to have grown shorter, and Embleton seems to have grown further away as you all ponder the meaning of Tanglewood's death. Little time is given for greiving however, as the last of you have not even left the galley before those of you that have are drawn back by the sounds of lightsabers clashing.
Jeeber is already back on his heels, a lime green lightsaber in his hands in what is already obviously a losing battle against the dual scarlet blades of your nightly nemisis. The rage of the Sith is almost palpable through the Force, and the speed of his attacks have reduced him to a black and red blur. Whatever chance Jeebs had is soon removed as one of the blades of the Sith dervish slices through Jeebers forearm, sending his hand flying across the room...his lime green lightsaber still clutched in its' now detached grasp. Realizing he is beaten, Jeebs draws himself up to his full height, "You may slay me here and now Sith, but the Jedi will always win in the end. Even if you strike us all down.." Jeebers last words are truncated by the fact that the Sith has plunged one of his scarlet blades through each of Jeebers eye sockets, boring out two new, hollow black eyes. Jeeber is dead. The Sith turns, laughing his evil cackle at you. As you move towards him he sprints down a nearby corridor, holding the nearest door shut with the Force as he goes. It is now day 6, voting deadline is 9:30pm wednesday. |

If the seer is somehow alive at this point (unlikely I think, realistically) he's doing a pretty cruddy job because we haven't been given a clue. While I understand people's desire to get more info, I would recommend staying quiet for now unless he has some useful info to share, e.g. knows who one of the Sith is. If there is only two Sith, then we still have some wiggle room before panic mode sets in. |

So, I notice these night actions are coming before the deadline, and even though I'm not still in the game I'd like to make sure everyone has the full time to consider what they want to do with their actions. So, to make sure it's not a problem and you're not feeling rushed by Saldana, it'd be great if the Sith could post just a quick confirmation that they're fine with everything going through before the deadline.
k, thx |

It just seems a little off to on one hand say he's doing a cruddy job if he's still with us, and then in almost the same breath say that it's better for him to stay quiet if he doesn't have any information. But I do think at this point that if we haven't had any help from that avenue yet that we're probably not going to get it. I only hope we can pull this out without needing it. |
