7 players left, we've gotten 2 wolves already. Assuming a bad lynch + a night kill, we would be at 5 players left tomorrow. For the wolves to win, they would have to have 5 starting wolves in an 18 player game. That seems like a very, very high ratio. I can't see it, even with one of the wolves not knowing he was a wolf. My best guess is that we have two bad lynches left in us. The bodyguard role, and potentially the Diseased, are pivotal roles down the stretch that could potentially give us even more time if things break correctly. |

Assuming that we have our bodyguard alive after this lynch, I would like to float an idea out there that I hope is a net positive down the stretch.
Just going to take a few minutes to chew on it, make sure that I'm thinking things through all the way before posting any more on it. |

My current trust list (most to least - gaps are deliberate, and indicate different levels of trust):
PurdueBrad hoopsguy lerriuqs Schmidty claphamsa nfg22 While I've had suspicions about the bottom two over the last couple of days, it really comes down to a process of elimination - PB is 100% trusted, hoops gets a high level of trust from his play over the last couple of days while lerriuqs and Schmidty are on the 'trust' side of the scale (I don't think that Schmidty votes for The Jackal yesterday if he's a wolf, and I'm seeing 'villager who wants to win' from lerriuqs). If any of hoops, lerriuqs or Schmidty are a wolf, they've completely fooled me. I'm happy to go with either claphamsa or nfg22 at this point - whatever the consensus is. |

Obviously since I am on the block...I will go with Claph. Im not sure he is a wolf as I still think schmidty and Lerriuqs could be bad but I have no other choice to save myself, who I know is good.

In my mind, there isn't much to choose between nfg22 and claphamsa, but I really didn't like clap's late vote switch in yesterday's lynch vote.

My trust list...since hoops loves those..
PB-cleared by the seer. Hoops-After much scrutiny has proved to get our first wolf in a long time and has added much analysis, maybe too much. Martin D- gave a hardline vote against Jackal yesterday when he could have went the other way and changed the game. Lerriuqs- I dont have much of a read but at least he hasnt struck me wrong. Schmidty- He has struck me bad since the vote to lynch the seer. Not that he would even know it was the seer. I dont know if that vote still matters but it still sticks in my mind. Clap- for the obvious splitting from Jackal reasons. The last 3 could be switched alot. I think that is where our remaining two wolves lie. |

I do love them. - if you are a villager and get lynched, I want to know what your impressions were because they can be taken as gospel - if you are a wolf and get killed, I want to see how you ranked people as that will factor into my later decisions So trust lists are win/win, in my mind. Not that important when we still have a ton of players around on D1/D2, but when you are into the second week I think they are a critical point of data for people to evaluate. |

You've got to be kidding me. I was one of 2 people that essencially sealed the Jackal's fate yesterday. I've admitted I screwed up the EF vote, but there's not much else I've done that could be construed as bad, and even the EF mistake would have been a dumb move for the wolves. Since it's between clap and you, I'm going with the guy that doesn't sound completely resigned to dying: VOTE NFG22

Schmidty you may be a villager but I think at least one wolf and maybe two threw down on Jackal yesterday. The fact is it was 3/6...They could try and lynch hoops but then it would have been obvious who switched without good reason. so one or two sealed jackals fate and gain trust in a game where they only need two more bad lynches. You may or may not be one of them but I think one was in there.

Well, lets look at the Hoops voters from yesterday
Jackal = wolf Jets = villager NFG = ??? Clap (later switch) = ??? We'll find about about a 3rd Hoops voter at deadline, barring a strange turn of events. But I'm certainly not convinced that you + Clap are both wolves. I'm guessing that one of you is and that a last wolf voted for Jackal a little later in the day when it was clear there would be a two man race. |

This seems very harsh on the guy who basically had the lynch in his hands yesterday, and made the call that lynched a wolf. (Yes, I realise that there's a possibility that this could have been a wolf making a big play to win trust, but that seems to be a bit of a reach to me... (Disclaimer: I'm still learning the ins and outs of the game, so I could easily be missing something obvious here.)) |

Hoops, can you lay out, briefly, what makes Claphamsa a better vote over nfg? For some reason, nfg's vote on Danny has been a bee in my bonnet. First vote on a wolf that doesn't know he's a wolf seems like a nice play to get wolf cover. I think, otherwise, he's vote "right" which may also be odd.
I'm going back and comparing normal odd Clap play to odd Clap play here and I don't know if I'll see a difference. |

It just makes me feel weird that clap just seems to be resigned to being lynched. I just think a wolf would put up some kind of defense even if it's righteous indignation ala Jackal (sort of), instead of giving up.

PB, I don't see a ton different about Clap this game versus others - I find him to be a pretty consistent player, regardless of side. But I think the wolves probably had more to gain by trying to keep a wolf alive on Day 1 than to bury a wolf on Day 1 (all other things being equal).
NFG's vote on Danny came at a point in the day where there were votes already on several players, but no player had taken a commanding lead. Is there a good reason, as a wolf, to do that even to a wolf who doesn't know he is a wolf? Maybe it earns some trust, but I put more credence into that argument for guys who usually are in the mix for votes like EF and Lathum than I did for NFG who could probably lay low for a few days without arousing too much suspicion. NFG also pointed out at one point that it was worth taking a look at the Danny voters for wolves. Would he have done that, as a wolf, knowing he was in that block of voters? Anyway, I do not think that today is a slam dunk but I do think that Clap is the better of the two for the vote. I'll be surprised if they are both wolves - something that I was not saying yesterday when I stated multiple times that I thought it was reasonably likely that both Jackal and Clap were wolves. But, if we do have a bad lynch here today then I hope that whoever is the bodyguard is around to read the thread and consider a course of action that I'm going to suggest. |

The run-off between these guys has been weird. Neither one of them has seemed inclined to offer much in the way of reasons that they should not be lynched. Neither has given any role information. Neither has brought up arguments why the other one is more compelling, made arguments about their their own value to the group. Just ... weird. |
