Thanks guys, I'll pass it along. One other question: I notice this thread is 25 pages, instead of two. Is there any entertainment value in going back and reading it for the inevitable flamewar? Or would it just be a waste of time?

Not sure if there is much entertaining value, but the flame wars are small, with the latest one (and latest exception) being the subject of what 'should' be talked about. |

Yeah, there's really way more speculation than flamewar. Maybe 2 or so pages of flameware, the rest speculation, etc... If you've already watched the show, it probably doesn't hold a lot of value.

I would say this thread is largely reactions to the episodes and speculation on what things mean and what might happen in future episodes.

Best.episode.yet.
Wow, there was the comical, the heartwrenching, and the ironic all in one episode. And I knew who the picture was going to be of before it came up.

I agree that that was probably the best episode yet.

Mohinder is awful. He's a bad actor and he is poorly written. Sylar is definitely sufficiently creepy.
I loved the Parkman/Jessic scene. It was very well done and a great "action" scene with each character using their powers quite smartly. I definitely enjoyed it and Parkman stealing the diamonds was a nice turn for the character. He needed a little something-something. Always good to see Dauber around. I'm definitely looking forward to next episode...

I don't necessarily think the actor for Mohinder is bad, but I agree that the character is poorly written. Sylar wasn't as creepy last night when he was wearing the Ramones shirt. His eyebrows are something else, though...

I used to think it was just bad writing, but now I am convinced he's a bad actor. Maybe that's not the case. I mean, if all we ever saw of Natalie Portman was her "acting" out George Lucas' piss-poor scripts her entire career, we'd think she was a crappy actor as well.

While I hope Sylar kills Mohinder, I sure hope he doesn't eat Mohinder's brain, otherwise Sylar will regress into a boring, long-winded sap. His new ability will be to make people change the channel.

Dola... he was the FBI Agent that found Hiro last night.
Also, the exotic dancer was the chic, from Dodgeball, that was on Ben Stiller's team. |

I guess technically he wasn't a "FBI Agent". He was an agent from the "Gaming Commission." Same difference. That exotic dancer was also on "My Name is Earl" last year and was the femalie alien in "Galaxy Quest."

Agreed that it was a great episode. I'm enjoying the Jessica/Nikki storyline more the last few weeks. Hiro/Andro are just great. Also, I'm enjoying seeing the side effects of multiple brain wipes on Claire's mom. It makes her vapid nature at the beginning of the show more understandable.

I'm not quite understanding the "best episode ever" talk. Certainly another good one, but less notable than a number of others, in my opinion.
And I just dont have the hate for Mohinder that everyone else seems too. I'd prefer to see the Nikki/Jessica character dead, but know there is zero chance of that happening for a while. |

Well finally Nikki/Jessica are interacting with the other Hereos, there is finally a purpose to that character

My exact words during that last minute or two of the episode:
OH.FUCK!!!!!! Nice to see Parkerman's actually got some meat to his storyline now, though. And Hayden Paniettere has really blossomed as an actress on this series. I loved HRG line: "Save the world"

I was going to say she's not a very good actress... but there are a couple of other reasons why she's watchable.

Awesome episode. That girl's power seems cool. Being able to connect to the internet without actually having to be connected. The stories all progressed nicely today.

Very true. Another excellent episode. I loved the scenes with Peter even though the ending was somewhat obvious. It's great to see him throwing around his power. I know a few people don't want to see the powerful good guy against the powerful evil guy towards the end, but I don't mind at all that it appears to be heading this way. My only disappointment is that we may not see any more of Christopher Eccleston on the series if he truly goes underground.

What an amazing episode, and building up to answering some questions next week. Parkman, Sprague, and Wireless join up to caught HRG completely by surprise it seems, with Claire desperately looking for answers. It seems Sylar has finally got too greedy. It was bound to happen, but he didn't really listen to the woman and took her super hearing anyway... now if it gets too loud, he's done. And OMG, it isn't Nathan that's being set up for the super villian, but Peter!! Peter getting all disillusioned with those he trusted, leading to anger.. and now Issac killing Simone. Peter is heading for supervillian very quickly (unless he's really good at channeling Hiro.. but I'd rather not see a super-superhero develop, better for Peter to go the villian route). Quote:
Not entirely... she seems like she can use satellite images and there were plenty of spy satellites back then. Less useful, but not useless.

I was watching the show on the television upstairs, and my roommates was watching it from the bedroom, and she and I both said at the same time "NO!" when Simone.
Maybe it was that I was completely sure it was gonna be Isaac, but the Simone thing completely took me by surprise.

It almost seems that they are setting Peter up to be a parallel to Sylar, both with the ability to absorb the powers of others, although Sylar's method is much more sinister.

Without a doubt. Although, I disagree with the idea that they are setting him up to be evil. I think they are setting him for a crisis of faith, maybe a dark period, but I'm fairly certain he will end up firmly on the side of "good" once he goes through that.
