If not caring what someone's butt ugly kid looks like in some outfit is wrong, then I don't want to be right.

No I'm with you. I am just saying that facebook is more of a female platform IMO and if I happen to be friends with a bunch of women I realize the types of things they are going to post. I am pretty sure 95% of the "likes" are from people who are just trying to fit into society and remember what is was like when they had a kid. Its like a guy posting about their fantasy team or the "problems" with their favorite team on facebook.

It's just the stuff that pretty much every single parent has gone through that grates on me. I just hide their posts now when it comes to those things. I think part of the problem is, they are young, barely out of high school.

I could just be cranky. I've have been tempted though to respond back, "No shit, a baby crapped its diaper? My, how things have changed. No puns intended".

There's plenty of things that others post regarding their kids, from newborns on up that I don't mind at all. I want to read the interesting stuff like, "just caught my two year old emptying my bottle of Jack into his bottle" or "How did little Johnny find my porn collection?". Now that makes for some good Facebook postings.

Well, the thing is that while new parent status updates are lame and unoriginal, so are every other facebook status. Every Sunday I have to scroll through 100 unintelligible update about some sports game I'm not watching. Every other day I scroll through people's comments about lunch, or some TV show I don't watch. If your other friends are posting something better than, "Oh my gosh, she's so tiny," updates, more power to you, but I doubt it.

Just witnessed a somewhat funny chain of events.

Old high school classmate living in Florida comes back to visit home, rekindles an old flame with a girl that had just left her husband because he cheated.

Classmate goes back to Florida but begins to plan moving back home to be back with his love. Proceeds to have daily posts about how much he loves her and can't wait to move home.

Moves home, and about a month later he's posting today about how she's a no good bitch and cheated on him with a married man.

Always love people airing out their drama on Facebook.

Yeah I remember a former couple friend that we had did the same thing one day. It turned into a public argument complete with accusations, name calling, and a defriending. They ended up together again later, she moved with him to a new job, shortly thereafter she disappeared off of my facebook planet as they broke up and divorced for good.

I love people that have no sense of humor on facebook, or the need to point out the obvious. I have seen that "facebook closed" photo a cople times out there now. My brother had reposted it and some of the comments that he received were anywhere from the humorous to the irritating. The irritating were those who had to point out, and about 90% of those were with almost a snide arrogance, that February Only Had 28 Days!!!! No sh*t, now here's a dollar, please go buy a sense of humor.

This is a whole facebook page that is beyond pathetic. How the fuck so many twisted, angry losers make this guy a Hero is beyond me. Almost 7000 likes and scores of inane posts worshipping this fool.

He murdered two innocent people ambush style like a coward, and has also now killed two police officers and people on this page are praying for him? Are you fucking kidding me?

Well, depends. Technically I think the adherents of a number of religions would be compelled to pray for him/his soul. That's distinct from, say, praying for his actions to continue.

Then again, a FB page supporting a local cop killer (gunned down two officers in cold blood, killing one & severely wounding the other) sprang up within a matter of hours, based largely on the vague notion that he was "stickin' it to The Man"... so it's not like anything on the 'net is going to surprise me.

The way he worded it, it seemed that he had never thought he could so easily see other planets at any given time. Never mind that Jupiter is typically the 3rd brightest object in the night sky. It seems that the obvious point would be that it's always there and you don't need the moon to be able to see it. But sadly, there are a number of sad Facebook posters out there who have no concept of that.

Sorry Chief, pretty anti-climatic on that one.

Venus being the one that's probably the most noticeable. Obviously it has to be dark or close to dark to see them though. You can see Venus at various times throughout the year during dusk or dawn, it's that bright.

The poster was upset because there were sick people in the waiting room at the doctor's office? How dare they! Don't they know that sick people are supposed to stay home.
