Yeah, all it takes is one more line by Sylar. Something like "I'll be back for you after I'm done with your family. You'll get to see them one last time before you die, don't worry." And then that implies that he'd bring thier dead bodies too. |

I believe it was a reference to that show William Shatner was on, the one where they fly around in space and do stuff. I can't remember the name of the show though.

Anybody else find it interesting that they pointedly did not say Mr. Bennett's first name? Did anybody catch it on the driver's license? I'm wondering if they're just being cute, or if it actually has some importance.

Yes, I forgot to mention that as well. That reminds me of that M Night movie, Unbreakable, where every evil person is known as Mr. something. That was a movie based off of comic book references sort of, so I wonder if that is what the writers are alluding to?

The actresses are 35 and 17. Wait another year and it's fine.

Hmm I don't know. Wouldn't he just buy every single painting made by that Isaac guy, in case it has something with Claire on it? He only bought a few I think.

One of the episodes showed HRG talking to someone on the phone and HRG was responding to him as a subordinate. I don't think HRG = Linderman. He might be working for Linderman.
I think Mr. Bennetts first name is either Ben or Tony.

I think that's right. I mean, he showed up at Linderman's hotel in Vegas to snag Nathan. He must have been tipped off about it. I wonder if HRG knows Nathan is Claire's father? Is that why he snagged him and not Niki? Hrmm...

Nathan had to pay Claire's mother to get her on the run (or to fake the fire). Nathan would've been what, 20, then (16 years ago)? So he's not likely to have the resources. But his dad would, and we know Nathan's dad was tight with Linderman. Since HRG adopted Claire, he has to be working with whoever was involved with the fire and the coverup. So it seems logical that he's working with Linderman.

I like the idea that Nathan and Claires real mother were too young and maybe she accidentally tapped into her power and blew up their own home, and Father Petrelli had Lindermans guys cover it up.
However, if that were the case, wouldn't he be worried to prosecute Linderman, like he was about to do in an earlier episode?

My assumption at this point is that Linderman will be the big baddie with Sylar and Jessica filling the punching bag roles from the bad guy side. Mr. Bennet is likely taking his orders from Linderman as well, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Haitian is working with Claude in some way.
I am curious which side of the fight Nathan ends up on. At least in the case of Nathan and Jessica/Niki, they're given stories where being on either side of the fight (or eventually both) can fit with their characters. Guessing that's why the drawn out side story for Niki and D.L., so that when she starts off bad, later unifying herself (or however they approach that) and becoming good, you already have the story rather than a bunch of explanation later on when the action is underway. Plus, we have some idea as to what she is capable of, rather than just having a character show up, smash, walk away with a quip while leaving one of the main heroes crippled/dead/etc (and makes her a potentially sympathetic character no matter how evil they make her while she's Jessica). In the end, the Haitian is the one that intrigues me right now. Could fit on any side, and will likely play a bunch of them before we find out his true motivation. |

So who wants to get a HD capture of that and upload it so the analysis of the signature can begin (assuming that's what is above his picture)?

Not the bit below Odessa, the three words above his picture. Never seen a Texas license up close before, so not sure what usually goes there.

Signature seems to say "Bennet"
AFAIK, no real life license only has a last name on it, though.

I wonder what is holding the Haitian guy from wiping HRG's mind now instead of later, if he does do that?

He probably has a plan. I am sure playing HRG's lackey gets him inside places he normally wouldn't go and makes him privy to information that would be impossible to get otherwise. Remember what Vito Coreleone said... "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."

ahhh Public Safety. Thanks for the license screencap. It flashed by too quick for me to see the whole thing originally, which is why I thought it maybe said Homeland Security or some such thing as that.
Not having a DVR, I couldn't rewind.

Probably. They could have made a nonsense address on an existing street, but I suppose that's not necessarily safe.

If HRG guy had super powers, why wouldn't Sylar have stolen them from him when he had the chance? |

I don't think Sylar can detect super powers. I think he got some of the info from Mohinder's father. I do not believe he has some sense of it, that's why he killed Claire's friend by accident. He uses more mundane things to find people with powers... ...The list...

If Haitian mindwiped Sylar, would Sylar forget the powers he absorbed? Ditto in regards to Peter.
My guess is that Peter would but Sylar would not.

After Peter saved Claire, what did the Haitian guy do to Sylar? I thought Eden and the Haitian guy did something to Sylar at that point.

Not sure if anybody noticed or not, but did Sylar have the same marks (I believe it should be on the neck) as Parkman and the radiation guy? Can't remember for sure if it was stated on the show, but on wiki they imply or state that those marks are from having trackers inserted by HRG and crew.
Just curious as to whether or not one was implanted in Sylar that he'll have to remove, or if they didn't bother as they were planning on killing him off while in captivation at some point. |

My bad. It was bugging me, so I looked it back up on wiki, and it's reference from two of the graphic novels that are being put out after/between episodes. I've yet to read these (plan on catching up this weekend), so I guess the level of spoiler depends on what's being followed I guess. I'm assuming anything contained in the graphic novels is fair game for discussion? |
