Ya, now i want all of you to take a second to re-asses that cronin was the mob boss. Now look at the 5 vote swap in the final 20 posts to save him, and kill me(led by hoops).

Then tell me im evil, and explain why you vote hoops to be judge...

Yes, and you were a major playing in almost saving the mob boss. All the trust you had garnered is totally gone...hope it was worth it

10. St.Cronin - Lynched Day 2 - Mafia Crime Boss

Well, it appears that Blade6119 may have been right about the list of people voting for him as a who's who of Mafia, but I'm not one of them.

Great result, and I'll answer any questions people may have about my actions nearly derailing this outcome.

i'm a major player now? I do believe I was like...the third vote or 4th vote in there dude. Hardly "major." the judge was the one who drove it. was it worth it...no of course not. Had I known cronin was the mob boss I would have voted for him. But honestly I didn't think the case against him was THAT strong, he could have been any of a number of people on that rich list.

Why did you concoct a baseless story at the final second to save the mafia boss and try to kill the only semi-cleared(hopefully now fully cleared) player? Why should we not kill you?

So to vote me you must have thought hoops' story was more believable, despit his coming right before the deadline day 2 and mine was over 2 days and included direct contact with you. Explain to me how the case against me was stronger then against cronin...please

Guys, I have a reveal, before we go too far in the wrong direction. I think I'd rather get this information out too early, rather than too late.

I am the janitor and, once every other day, I can go through citizens' trash and find clues about them.

First day, I checked out hoopsguys' trash and found a few things to indicate that he is a little "out there," but nothing to indicate that he is in the mafia.

However, just got the day 3 info... and, I checked on Marathoner. His trash had bodybuilding magazines and catalogs for bulletproof vests.

Do with it what you will.

Not kill - because it won't help clean up the city. Because two people have information on me, and unless you believe both of them are mafia then it would have made sense for them to come after me today if they had any reason to believe I'm evil.

Baseless story - because it made more sense to me than the version you gave, basically. Because I still think you are playing fast and loose with the truth, even if you were targeting the mob boss today. I now think it is way less likely you are sporting a tommy gun, if that makes you feel better.

As I have alluded to earlier today, I don't think you are mafia and I won't be voting for you. I know you have your eccentricities, but I believe you are on our side.

I think Marathoner is a good bet to be hired muscle, though.

nah. I just have a habit of swaying at the last minute as a villager when someone comes up with some fantastical story.

figured I dunno...maybe he just had like a "lightbulb" moment and made a connection whereas yours seemed more...logical. And sometimes the logical in these games is almost TOO logical.

honestly...i dunno. I guess I just have a weakness for last-minute vote-changing dramatic stories

Marathoner held off on voting for Blade6119 down the stretch, despite being in the room while st.cronin had the lead. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but I would think the Mob would have been incented to try and save the boss with 1-2 votes - right? Don't want to all get grouped together, but that was a key role on the line.

In every game, at least one wolf goes against the others so they dont all die im one lump sum. You have been UTR, you have played carefully in regards to cronin, and you voted at a time that it seemed clear he was a goner. I dont believe all the wolves swapped, i just dont. And you(as i stated early today before this whole mess) are my #2 suspect.

Nice job Blade. Way to knock out the king.

That was one hell of a run of votes on Blade. I'm guessing we have at least 1 if not 2 more mafia members on that list.

I'm taking off for a bit.

I would have liked to hear Marathoner's explanation for needing a bulletproof vest and the muscle magazines, but I think he is hoping it will pass over or get lost in Blade's soapbox moment of getting something right, which I'm sure we'll hear about for the rest of the game.

Vote Marathoner

I am also putting it out there that hoopsguy is an eccentric, but not a badguy. I will not switch my vote for judge from him, as I feel like he is on our side.

I see no reason not to believe swaggs. What would he have to gain from making this play and why Marathoner?

If he was trying to cause trouble there are alot of other names he could have picked like hoops.

What could he have to gain? Other then trying to avoid the backlash of being one of they key votes to save the mafia boss? They, if evil, are in a terrible situation. I would expect nothing less then role reveals and what not...just saying, he has everything in the world to gain

Interesting that two guys that jumped on the Blade bandwagon late, have started the day 3 train on Marathoner.

Marathoner - can you answer Swaggs question to why you have a muscle and bulletproof vest magazines?

Funny you mention this.

Wouldn't the heir have a lot to gain from the mob boss dying?

Is it that far-fetched to consider that you recognized him as the mob boss and wanted him to die, so that you could take over?

First day, I checked out hoopsguys' trash and found a few things to indicate that he is a little "out there," but nothing to indicate that he is in the mafia.

However, just got the day 3 info... and, I checked on Marathoner. His trash had bodybuilding magazines and catalogs for bulletproof vests.

Do with it what you will.

I am an independent with an interest in bodybuilding, i.e. strength. Take a look at the job descriptions, it is right there. I have personal goals, but nothing associated with either particular side. I played no part in tonight's lynching, I have stated the reason for my vote many posts ago. I could have moved on blade, but didn't. The only evidence you have is a muscle magazine, which is of interest to independents too. With all the guns out there, I'd suggest you all consider getting one, especially if you need to take a bullet as part of your job.
