Let me remind you of the post that people missed. There is no top secret information involved. I also clearly knew about the rope, and paid particular attention to this post, because I HAD THE ROPE. I had kind of hoped EagleFan wouldn't mention it so it could be a surprise. |

I am off for a while. I play WoW with Saldana on Thursday nights.
I will try to check back if I can but if not like I said, I am only a plain villager so lynching me is no great loss. I would switch to BK out of self preservation if need be. When I come up villager, DO NOT be fooled when BK says " he was acting weird, we had no choice" BK drove the lynch on Cartman and is now doing it on me. I feel there is a connection with him and Autumn. |

I think it's best to be clear here, though I considered remaining vague in order to worry the wolves. The rope cannot be used again, it as a one-time object. Don't save me because you think I can do it again.

In what way is that significant? These are the sort of ominous remarks that you seem to be making that sound bad but don't make any sense to me. Barkeep is bad because he actually read a post from the mod? lol Sorry, Eaglefan, I'm sure Lathum doesn't mean it. |

I'm wondering a couple things. Do we all feel safe saying there couldn't have been more than 5 wolves to start the game? I'm not sure enough about werewolf conventions in that sense.
And as for Drew, I'm assuming that if the wolves attack Drew he will be converted. Are we sure that's how that works? Obviously we're not sure, but I mean is that very much expected Werewolf rules? Or is it possible the wolves could have a second kind of action that would convert him? |

That's just circular logic. Barkeep "defended" me by saying he in fact had realized there were items, and thought maybe I had one. If someone else had noticed the items they would have said the same thing. Obviously only people who noticed the item description would be able to "defend" me in that way. You are suggesting that the only way Barkeep could have noticed the post that Eaglefan posted in the thread, highlighted in red, and repeated on the first page, is if I told him? You said that EVERYONE assumed that I was the bodyguard, and Barkeep pointed out that you were wrong, he didn't. The fact that he paid enough attention to notice a mod-post in the game doesn't seem damning to me. If someone logs on tonight and says, "Oh yeah, I noticed the thing about the rope too, I thought Autumn had it" are you going to call them a wolf as well? |

Looks like a two-way choice tonight...
On one side, there's Autumn - used the rope to protect CR last night, which looks good at first glance (making sure that the known trustworthy guy is safe), but the 'good deed' might have been used to trick everyone into thinking he's just a cube dweller when he's actually a wolf (as explained by Lathum in #964). On the other side, there's Lathum - has definitely been very active over the course of the game, and has provoked a lot of discussion. The question here is if that high level of activity has been intended to uncover the wolves, or if it's been to draw suspicion away from himself. (Yes, I realise that I'm simplifying things quite a lot here - is more me thinking out loud to try to make a decision than anything, though.) Tough one to call, but I think that I trust Autumn more at this point. VOTE LATHUM |

For what it's worth, I didn't know about the descriptions of the items being added to the initial post of this thread until it was explicitly mentioned in the thread as part of today's discussion - while EagleFan's post (as quoted by Autumn a bit further up this page) does make this clear, I didn't pick this up at the time.
(Admittedly, I haven't been online as much as I would have liked since the start of the week, which didn't help here...) |

on another point, I'm really wondering about this mask. Does the disguise work in the thread, as in posting as the other person? I wouldn't think so. So, it probably would only be useful in the night phase, in the sense of hiding from a wolf or something?
Also, are we sure that all of the good guy roles are in game? Is this game big enough that Eaglefan would have included them all? |

To bring suspicion to a new level, if I do get lynched, I don't think that should earn Barkeep any sort of free pass when it's shown I'm a villager. I think it's very possible the wolves would want someone "on my side" so they have someone who can say, "See, I was on the villager side." Particularly if Lathum is a wolf and turns out to get lynched they would want that. |

I'll be out all night. Going to the riverboat casino. My vote stands but I still highly suspect Barkeep. I would have been willing to vote Barkeep today but was unwilling to vote Autumn. Since Lathum was also a suspect of mine I placed my vote on him. That is the reasoning for my vote.

checking in quick.
Like I said, if I am lynched I am ok with it, just look to the people who voted me. I am rarely a night kill because sooner or later I will be the target of a lynching. The wolves know this, take a close look at who voted me and when. |

For someone who practically files a lawsuit when something of his is mischaracterized this is a pretty gross mischaracterization. I simply said I read EF's post that items were in the game and were located in the rules. I have no clue how one gets an item. And you want to know something else? I haven't even read the rules. Not even once this item thing entered into the game.

So to dubb and others, there's still more than enough time to get a 3rd candidate in the mix. So go ahead and vote me, if you think I should be that person, but don't think your forced to choose, even just over an hour from deadline, between two candidates.

Okay. I've had some doubts about both, but moreso Autumn. I can't get much of a read on Lathum at all, because "Lathum being Lathum" seems to be the same whether he's a wolf or a villager.
For the moment, I'm voting Autumn, because voting Lathum would seem to be putting the nail in the coffin, and I'm not sure enough to make that play. I'm around until the deadline, though, so this isn't necessarily set in stone. VOTE AUTUMN |

All I can really say in my defense at this point is that I am probably the only one here who has made a public action to help the villagers out. We've got a lot of strange looking votes that mostly have lynched villagers, and not really much else. I may not be suspicion-proof, but you can all vouch that I did something to try to save Chief last night.

I apologize if items have caused confusion, sort of. I intended to have them add another level of strategy and decisions to be made and to have them available so that anyone could find them (not just randomly give them away). They have all been hidden in potentially multiple step investigations and not directly something that is listed in a write up (to make everyone think a little). They have each had uses which could be positive and potentially negative but definitely add even more to a player's strategy. I will expand on that after the game.

There is a wolf somewhere in this showdown I would suspect otherwise we've wasted an entire day challenging villagers. I've felt things off with both but I don't have a read for one over another. I think Lathum's day 1 play would be too on the radar for a wolf but I might be wrong.

All right, had an awful file I have been working on all day, and haven't been able to check in since morning.
I'm not comfortable with either choice, but not against them either. Since a tie puts my conditional in place, I will just let Lathum go. Sorry in advance, Lathum (unless you're a wolf, then good riddance). VOTE LATHUM

Sorry BK, not meant to confuse. My point is I truly believe that between Lathum or Autumn there IS a wolf. I really do. If there isn't, then I fear that today is the day we will have lost this thing by wasting time on a villager-villager duel. But yes, I do think one is a wolf.
