Peterson played a dangerous game with the reach. Not sure how that didn't get a booth review, looked like his knee may have hit at the reach, but nice play nonetheless.

And while I respect Peterson, I despise him because of the way he beat up on Furman every year we played. That kid couldn't be stopped.

If that crazy woman hadn't stabbed him in the knee is probably a unique what-if.

I have doubts whether Indy will ever goto the big game with Dungy, he seems like a great guy, and a good coach but he's just so conservative.

His teams - in Tampa and in Indy always lack fire, especially in big games.

He's had a tough year, no doubt, but this is just another to his coaching list of 'should have - but didn't' games.

2. After the game all I heard on the radio was a quote from Dungy, "They threw nothing at us that we didn't expect. We expected them to come out passing."....OK, so how come they killed you early on the pass you jackass.

3. Bill Polian says after the game, "I don't want to hear about rust. That is a term for people that don't know football." OK big guy, when exactly was the last time a team you built went all the way? EXACTLY. When a QB who is as accurate as Manning starts out 0 for 4. Misses Stokely on a TD that everyone saw coming because he doesn't see him, overthrows wide open recievers by 5-7 yards all day, and hasn't played in 32 days what are we supposed to assume? And that wasn't the protection we were getting when the O-Line was playing every week.

4. Season ticket holders sold this team out today. Steeler fans flooded the dome, and I know people that sit in my area all year were gone today and Steeler fans were in their place. They are going to have some explaning to do next year if they have the guts to show back up.

5. No way Harper was taking that fumble back all the way TODAY. He was looking for a lateral, and he probably should have lateraled it. If that crazy woman hadn't stabbed him last night, that is a touchdown.

6. By and large, the Steelers fans behaved better than I expected and were very friendly. I got to try some IC light. That crap is worthless. I just wished the dome wasn't so loud when we were on O.

7. The most up and down crazy football game I've ever been to. Great game, just wish we would have pulled it out.

Nice observations. Steeler fans travel in large amounts. As for the ST holders that decided not to show up, F them 'cause they're wussies.

That was pass interference, but carter really should have done more to catch it. kind of like the jeffrey maier play. should have been called, but the guy should hace tried harder.

You expect the refs to make a correct call on a pass interference?

You mean settling under an easy fly ball isn't trying hard enough? Should outfielders start jumping for any ball hit their way?

But I digress...that was indeed PI on the defender.

That Kasay guy... he good.

Right down the middle, every kick. I think Vanderjaght could learn something from him.

Just saw a clip of Peyton during halftime of the Carolina game. Did anyone else think Peyton was selling out his teammates?

At first I thought he was gonna call out Vanderjagt. That would have been funny.

Yeah I know, late post about the Steelers game... but that was such a nerve-wracking game. Here's hoping to an awesome game (and win) at Denver next week. I'm hoping for a Steelers/Seahawks Super Bowl.

If this were FOF, my CB's would all be changed to punters, my DC and head coach would be fired (and if there were a way to publicly humiliate them before I did it, I would), and I'd lower ticket prices to five bucks to make up for my entire staff being jack asses.

It's second and 20. Smith is killing you. DOUBLE COVER HIM.

Does anyone know what the playoff record is for yardage? My newest copy of the NFL record and fact book (2001 version) has Eric Moulds getting 240 yards against Miami in 1998. Did Marvin Harrison break that mark in one of the two blowout wins over Denver? Is that still the record?

It was Reggie Wayne who killed Denver. 221 yards last year.

Harrison had 133 the first year, only 50 last year.
