you're such a farce. you try to play it off like you're this awesome guy, and yet you're in the porn business. what a farce of a life you lead. one can only hope your children don't wind up in the same industry that you profit off of. you're the last person in this forum to be taking any sort of moral high ground. how am i a "greedy red flag TO" just for wanting to start? what player in the pro leagues is content to be on the bench? when i go to the trouble of asking off my old team and pass up other offers to be a starter on other team to play on macro's team and find out i won't be starting, who would be happy with that? and for the record, when he was notified i accepted the offer his words were "yeah, i put HA as the #4 CB". he didn't say "welcome, HA, i put you as the #4 CB for now, but give me a week or two to get rid of the players i already have and i'll be sure to make you a starter." that i can relate to, not what was essentially "i see he accepted the offer, i put him on the bench". miscommunication from the owner's end is not a reason to fault the player. But the way you handled it was completely out of line. Like I said, Macro is a reasonable guy and he let you go as there was an obvious miscommunication. That would have happened if you had PMed him and tried to sort things out rationally.

Since when does being in the porn business not make a guy awesome? HA, I think you're on the wrong message board to be making that argument.

ROFL at the guy calling me a farce for working in the porn industry when it's something public here and that i have openly talked about, how is that a farce then? Even worse is to talk about bad moral and porn when you admitted thousands of times to be a porn consumer and even asked me for details as you admired my job and saw me like a hero and it being your dream (remember your own forum way back?). Is porn bad now? who is the hypocrite now? I have been always 100% straight. Btw thanks for caring about my life and children future, but i have that taken care of already. The only farce here is the guy acting like a bad guy thinking that he is cool because doing that, when the rest of the forum sees him just as a clown that is less and less fun to read the more he acts.

Ok, that was wierd. I got contract offers for both of my players. I accepted one of them. The LB got the salary and the OG got the bonus.

Due to a mistake, my fullback was set to return punts on one team. The results were, shall we say...hilarious!

I agree with this and I'm trying to do the same. I'm careful to make sure my backup human players know they are doing this, yet I'm finding my backups are still getting a lot of game reps. I just want to find a group of guys that will keep up with their players and hopefully I can resign most of them to longer contracts midseason. Our team isn't as diverse as yours, and neither is the forum, but it's getting there and I like that. |

I'd recommend making all of your equipment to boost speed, since that will now cost you +2. It'd be better to get 1:1 on your other attributes and then purchase +1 upgrades for speed.

I'd gladly take him, but the guy I originally signed just to be a backup C is now the starter and he's invested his flex pts to bring him up to level 7. Hate to bench him now, but the rest of our line is 8s and 10s..you would have fit in nicely. You'll have no shortage of suitors though. |

I am starting to wonder if jumping might be the best secondary there...might work on that in addition to catching and stamina.

To: Silverbacks (this might apply to some other teams as well)
Guys, I noticed we are playing tomorrow, not the day after. With only one day between games, this might affect how you train (for example, I'm at 86 energy, I'd normally train normal and get +9 en for two days, and be at 100% next game, but with only one day's rest I'm training at relaxed and getting +15 en). Hope that made sense. I posted in the Silverbacks' forum as well so everyone will see it. |

This is actually the same way it was last season. You get two training updates before each game, so at relaxed you can recover up to 30 energy points.

Nice catch and run -- but the greatest part about that play is that the LDE was hanging with you all the way down the field, even at the end when the CB petered out. |

You want power back? My team's 3rd string HB / 3rd string FB (strength 58 iirc): http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=1350872 He's got 9 TDs in 3 games. Anyone who thinks "starting" is the end all and be all in this game is just ignorant. A well-managed team can have optimal player development (40 plays/player) for 30 plus guys...and if your concern isn't the team and collective development, then this probably isn't the game for you. |

Agreed, if you're the PRIMARY backup. If you're sitting 3rd on the depth chart & only getting 20 plays a game, you're stifling your own growth (which ultimately hurts the team, as well).

I'm not sure that being the 3rd backup hurts as much. If the player is on special teams, he may get 20-25 plays a game. I have a backup G on the Silverbacks and he's advancing a lot faster than my LB who's a starter. The G plays on special teams, both offensively and defensively, and usually gets about 28 reps a game, with 4-5 of those being snaps at G. He gains about 350 points a game, where the LB gains about 275, playing more snaps.
