I guess there's no way to use different avatars for your different Yahoo fantasy teams? I am in two Yahoo leagues this year and want to use different logos but now the one I uploaded for our league appears in my other league as well. Does anyone know if I can use two different avatars for two different teams and if so, how?

As I mentioned on the Yahoo site, I'm unemployed and looking for a job, and I was taking care of my daughter who had the flu and was home from school.

Next time, wait until you're beating me before bitchin'

I'm not even playing you.

Since this has already become too big a deal, let me just explain my point and let's be done with it.

I'm not trying to be a jerk. I want to have fun in this league, same as everyone. We all have real life concerns and fantasy baseball is very unimportant in the grand scheme of things.

That being said, I've been in too many leagues with deadbeat owners and I don't want this league to be yet another one so you can imagine my sense of dread when I look at someone's week one lineup and see a handful of DLed players.

While I know you couldn't have replaced all of them on your roster for week one, you could've at least replaced Ervin Santana, DLed on March 27 in the game, and Scott Baker, DLed on March 28 in the game.

Again, I'm not trying to be a hard ass. This has already become more of an issue than it should be. All I'm saying is yes, stuff comes up but I'm hoping that you'll be an active owner because I've been in too many leagues with deadbeat owners and I hope this league will be better.

Well, you failed, because you don't have the slightest idea what I was doing or involved with on those days. You just jumped to your conclusion and assumed that I would work my schedule around your fantasy baseball pet-peeve. I was willing to let the first comment in the thread go, but after having to explain myself 3 times now, I think you can go back you your glass house and fuck yourself.

Can't help you, unfortunately- not playing 2 teams this year. I thought you could use a couple of different of their hats and that sort of thing but you can only have 1 pre-made avatar.

Are you kidding? Wow, it's not a big deal. You didn't explain yourself three times, either, you did it once on Yahoo. I don't know why you posted it again here but whatever, it's the same thing. I explained my thinking and explained why it really isn't a big deal. I said that I wanted an active league and hope that you'll be an active owner.

You're right that I jumped to conclusions and I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry for that
. Come on now, whose making it a big deal? "Go fuck yourself?" Seriously dude?

As to the inactive owner, thing- we know what's going on. It's time to move on and worry about what's important, beating Travis (which, once again, my team seems incapable of doing)

I try to do monthly or more frequent updates and at that time, I'll make mention of who hasn't updated their team's roster in a while. The problem with Yahoo is that it only keeps track of roster moves so if you don't change anything in your lineup or pick up anyone because your team is doing well and isn't getting injured- you look inactive. I know we've seen that in the past.

Thanks Kelly Gregg for blowing Harden's win. My only solace is he is on Sooners team. At least Rich had 10 K for me.

Wait? It's not just my best player against their best player in a one-on-one general-vs-general death match? Damn you bums, Miggy can't do it all!

I really shouldn't have had a self imposed Blue Jay roster limit. Was so tempted to pick up Lind before the season started.

Nice to see this start for the Jays though, hope they can keep this up for a while.

A good start to the year. Scherzer is off the DL this week, so hopefully he can produce in the Rotation for me. Bedard was clutch though yesterday, and the offense hummed. Just hope to keep the consistency up so when I do lose it isn't by a lot of categories.

I'm pretty happy. After being behind all week, a few others on my offense besides Cabrera woke up and I worked a 7-7 draw with the Hunters.

Glad I pulled out the win, but I forgot that lineups lock on Monday...d'oh! Soto should be back soon and the rest of my lineup was pretty solid, so I am not worried too much.

A new record might have been set. As of now with the illustrious pitching of Brad Penny, Dice K, Wang and Scott Kazmir, my team sits pretty with a 10.10 era. I have given up more runs than gotten strikeouts.

I am almost rooting against Burnett tomorrow to see if we can reach 11.

Fairly impressive for a 9 pitcher group. That means you have to have an astronomical level of suck from a few guys and mediocrity from the others. Then again, those 4 have shown cosmic levels of suck this week

Speaking of cosmic levels of suck, I'm losing something like 10-2

Oh really? Take a look at my roster and let me know who you'd prefer closer wise and who you'd be willing to part with from your starters group. I could use another starter and with Morrow going back to the pen I should have some sort of closer flavor you might like.

This season has started off with a thud. Another loss to Troy this week as the bats are still ice cold. Pitching's ok, tho. Hopefully, my bats can start to turn it around. I'll post the standings after this week since we'll be one month into the season.

Anybody looking to make a deal? I've got depth at MI, OF and RP. Pretty much looking for SP's right now, but open to just about any solid offers.

I'm in second thanks to huge starts from Kinsler and Granderson, but I keep having guys get injured. McCann and Drew, Lackey is still out, and my RP is atrocious.

Thankfully my starters rack up K's. Hopefully wins are next.

Drew and Edwin go on the DL before I could figure out what to do with my lineup so I am playing down two guys. That makes 4 guys, McCann, Drew, Lackey and Encarnaccion on the LD for me.

I am now up to 6 guys on the DL.

Brian McCann, Stephen Drew, Josh Hamilton, Edwin Encarnaccion, Carlos Guillen and John Lackey.

McCann should be back next week, but christ.

Time for the monthly league update for the end of April.

Good news- everyone is still active in that there has been a "team activity" from every team in the last week or two. It's early in the season so that should be the case but we've had some bad years where it wasn't.

Dog Pound, Who's Down with OBP, and Blacksburg Transit have jumped out in front. But it's still bunched up. Even, Nietzche's Ubermen, who are currently in last with a slew of injuries could be right back into the playoff picture with a big week.

Long way to go, still

Slowly making my way back up.

And you want to talk about a bad break with innings pitched? In my other league, we have a 24 inning min. (2 SP, 2 RP, and 3 P) and I only got 22.2 innings last week. Doesn't help that I have three pitchers on the DL and none of my starters got 2 starts last week. Awful...

At least I am doing decent in this league

My team batting average is killing me so I'm looking to trade power for average and OPB. My team is the Hartford Heroes so make me an offer if you need more power in your lineup!

I'm having fun in this league but I hate that you can't change your weeks lineup on Monday before the games on Monday. Makes 0 sense.

All my weekly leagues you can change your lineup on Monday prior to games starting.

It's annoying but I can't do anything about it- it's part of Yahoo's interface. I've forgotten to change my lineup twice in the last month so it's definitely annoying

I think it essentially means "weekly by Monday" as it turned midnight last night and I couldn't change my team's lineup around.

So apparently my MI spot is cursed. First Weeks out for the year, now Iwamura (Weeks' replacement) out for the year. Worst part is, Iwamura didn't even get a chance to play. Weeks went on the DL on Monday of last week, so I picked up Iwamura and put him in the lineup for today...and of course, Iwamura goes on the DL for the year today. WTF man?!
