Apparently, Fox has announced that Paula is permanently leaving the show. Kara will continue as the third judge. No word yet on whether her contract requires her to play-wrestle and give Simon noogies during the breaks between contestants.

4 judges is the worst thing ever. They should call it American Judges, because for every 45 seconds of singing you have to endure 5 minutes of judging.

I thought she was funny for her first 5-10 minutes on SYTYCD, but her act quickly wore on my nerves as well. I'm willing to give her a shot to "bring the common fan's perspective" but hope she doesn't bring too much of her shtick to the show.

Her SYTYCD performance is what has me worried. It was all completely pre-scripted jokes and that's it.

Haven't ever watched SYTYCD so I have no idea how she did there, but I'm willing to bet I won't be able to stand her on Idol, and I like both Idol and Ellen. I just don't see how it would work. I'll give it a chance, but I'm very skeptical.
