I see the refs getting richer by the penalty or overturned challenges, these PO's.

Note to the punter: Don't down your own punt. Makes you look like even more of a jackass.

Dunno what's up with Maynard. He's usually excellent. (Has to be with Bears "offense")

If the Bears settle down, they are starting to find some things open. That slant play is there, they just haven't hit it. They ran the ball better than possession. I think they'll score some points on offense today.

I'd say Caro goes for it, since Bears O is not producing.

Hardly ever, especially against a great defense. You have to pass it on first down IMO. |

I had been here for nearly five months, and people were warning me about the "Yinzers." I thought it was just some joke that I wasn't in on. Of course, just a couple of weeks ago, my wife and I were eating at King's, and the teenage waitress comes up to us at the end of our meal and asks, "Can I get yinz any dessert?" I almost fell out of my seat. It was true.

Grossman is 2/11 with 4 yards... definitely an improvement of Kyle Orton. Bring in the beard.

one final dola.
Kyle Orton in the last meeting: 15/26 136, 1/1. Grossman in the current game: 2/12 4, 0/0. Running last game; 29/124 Running game now: 2/4 They've competely gone away from their game plan. Of course, having Urlacher make in INT helps. |

The way the Panthers use Smith is the way whoever gets Reggie Bush needs to use him. I think Smith has better hands, but Bush is faster/more elusive.

I think you have hit it on the head. I did not like the switch to Grossman but it seems that they are intent on proving that the switch to Grossman was the right move by throwing the ball on most downs. That is not the type of team they are. To be fair, the Bear receivers are not necessarily helping things any |

If you put together both Orton and Grossman, you still only have half a QB.

A couple of observations from the Colts game today, I was at the dome.
1. On the choice not to punt. Dungy and Peyton made their decision and it was to punt. When Hunter took the field and Peyton was leaving it, we shit all over the team, completely. At that point I think they realized Dungy wasn't the one making decisions anymore, we were 2. After the game all I heard on the radio was a quote from Dungy, "They threw nothing at us that we didn't expect. We expected them to come out passing."....OK, so how come they killed you early on the pass you jackass. 3. Bill Polian says after the game, "I don't want to hear about rust. That is a term for people that don't know football." OK big guy, when exactly was the last time a team you built went all the way? EXACTLY. When a QB who is as accurate as Manning starts out 0 for 4. Misses Stokely on a TD that everyone saw coming because he doesn't see him, overthrows wide open recievers by 5-7 yards all day, and hasn't played in 32 days what are we supposed to assume? And that wasn't the protection we were getting when the O-Line was playing every week. 4. Season ticket holders sold this team out today. Steeler fans flooded the dome, and I know people that sit in my area all year were gone today and Steeler fans were in their place. They are going to have some explaning to do next year if they have the guts to show back up. 5. No way Harper was taking that fumble back all the way TODAY. He was looking for a lateral, and he probably should have lateraled it. I don't know how many people know this, but his wife stabbed him with a knife right in the knee last night. Truthfully, he had no business playing today, and he was alot slower than he's ever been. If that crazy woman hadn't stabbed him last night, that is a touchdown. 6. By and large, the Steelers fans behaved better than I expected and were very friendly. I got to try some IC light. That crap is worthless. I just wished the dome wasn't so loud when we were on O. 7. The most up and down crazy football game I've ever been to. Great game, just wish we would have pulled it out.

This is a tough call.
I go for it because it's 13-0. If it were 10-0, I'd take the points.
