Tartan...if I'm reading the map right, they are directly bordering the woods on the NW and the W tiles, yes? I'm not sure by the map if it's both, or just the NW.

If it's the NW and W, then move all forces to the wooded area W of the city, and prepare to commence bombardment. If it's just the NW, move 'em there. Our highlanders get a bonus in the woods, I intend to make full use of it.

your assault force is actually West of the city and the 1 highlander that initiated the first attack overall, is to the SW of the city. The workers will be sent to Stirling first to be nationalized.

By his foreign conquests and internal reforms, Charlemagne helped define Western Europe and the Middle Ages. His rule is also associated with the Carolingian Renaissance, a revival of the arts and education in the West.



CW:

The battle of Chernihiv was initiated in 230 when a Highlander following up on a battering Ram's charge of city, facing incredible odds, destroyed a Ukrainian Archer contingent. Although they suffered heavy losses, The Scots won the day, and a Great General was born. With great morale and a feeling of invincibility, a second highlander contingent within Tartan circled around to face a second Ukrainian Archer contingent. This time it was a rout and the Ukrainian Archers were destroyed leaving the city wracked with fear. In a final push to the city, 2 of Tartan's Hypaspists attacked....the final Chernihiv guard, Spearmen, were destroyed and Chernihiv is ours!!

Upon our looting of the city we found documentation that was sent back to Edinburgh. Upon our wisemen's view, we came to the realization that what we are looking it is a Calendar. We have learned the science of a Calendar.

Within Chernihiv, a Ukrainian resistance shall be found and fought for at least 4 years.

I know this will sound selfish, given how it's my city and all, but I'd make him a great general within Edinburgh, simply because it's the city which can pump out units the fastest. Anyway, that's what I usually do with my first great general, when I can't have him create an academy yet...

I'd say until the insurgency is over, CW should, then I will post at FOFc the need for a new governor. If no one will take it then we'll begin doubling up cities, with the governor with the smallest city taking on a second.

It shouldn't be too difficult to know what to do and how to do it if you played CIV II. The mod being used changes the original game alot. I would highly reccomend picking up CIV IV + Expansion, tis be an excellent game.

fianlly, Cw, what are your directions now for Tartan. You have some wounded soldiers there...the promotions will give them some adrenaline to heal faster but they are likely in no shape to continue quickly:

The assault on Zhitomir has begun, After driving our Battering Rams into their gates....a highlander contingent ran across a Ukrainian Archer contingent. Facing incredible odds the highlanders won the day leaving only the Black sea Warrior defending the city. Our first 2 (TWO) contingents of Highlanders to attack the city were caught flat footed and destroyed by the Black Sea Warrior. However, our numbers finally overwhelmed them and our Highlander and Spearmen contingent rolled into the city. We again were able to find some incredible documents and scientists....through some very strong means and perhaps a little bloody we have learned some of the secrets of meditation.

We expect the insurgency to last 4 turns. the city will remain under Martial law until that is snuffed out...then a new Governor will have to be found.
