Whether to go hurry up, potential 4th down attempts or onside kicks etc. Count me out.

(And the other half is the announcers watching a 2-pt conversion fail, then assuming the first 2-pt attempt in their theoretical scenario would still have a 50% chance of success. I assume that team is trying the same 2-pt play they would have tried later.)

It's not all about yourself as well. Your opponent has to change their style and game plan slightly. Momentum is a real thing, and you absolutely kill it by missing the 2 pt conversion.

It really is stunning how bad they are. With Alex Mack there they at least seemed adequate.

I played D1 lacrosse in college. Played 3 sports in HS. You always want to know what your goal is. If a team is so mentally weak that missing the conversion early makes them shut down, instead of refocusing once they have new information, then they weren't going to come back anyways.

Kessler was a blown assignment (or bad protection setup by him), but RGIII tried to run over a guy on the sideline while 8 yards down the field, Whitehurst was a fluky knee injury where he planted wrong, and I don't really understand how McCown hurt his shoulder on that hit - though I only saw one replay and can't penetrate the NFL's anti-social media efforts to find a replay.

Even if it was (and I watch too many repeated wild swings every week during football games to think momentum is real in all but the most extreme scenarios,) Cleveland scoring to make it 30-13 after 7 straight failed drives against a superior team who was probably outgaining them 2-1 is not one of those times. Brady subsequently methodically marched them down for a FG with his 6th drive of 70+ yards on the day, and he probably would have done that regardless if the score was 30-15, 30-14 or 30-13.

BTW, saw the Tyrod Taylor lining up behind the Guard instead of the center (in shotgun) "highlight". (the center snapped the ball right past him of course for a big loss on the play)

How did the Pats lose to the Bills again? :P

And you would be completely wrong. Played D2 baseball. 3 sports in HS(football, basketball, baseball). At the end of the football games a lot of it has more to do with the winning team playing the clock than momentum anyway. Teams let up on the gas once they get up 2-3 scores and allow the other team to creep back. And with your point about momentum wouldnt making the 2 point conversion earlier even give you more momentum? Get that 2 point conversion while the other team has their foot off the gas.

LOL, when you're called out for being dumb by even Ruth Bader Ginsburg, well ...

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Supreme Court Justice, says Colin Kaepernick's national anthem protests are 'really dumb'

If only ANYONE AT ALL could have foreseen drafting a kicker in the 2nd round was a bad idea.

That seems like it was the least likely outcome possible.

Has anyone seen Cam Meredith play? Is he good, or just a vase of an injury glut + shitty Colts tackling?
