Ga Tech runs right through Miami's D on two straight drives to make it a one score game. Then Miami decides to finally start passing the ball and scores quickly to go up by 14.

That game last night suuuuucked. Washington is really strong...Peterson is the real deal. Stanford has no offensive identity and the injuries on D were too much.

After all the bullshit, Baylor can't lose often or big enough.

Did Ferentz get his extension and then immediately check out?

Wouldn't you? He's signed until he's 71. Why bother anymore. Either that or Iowa just got a lot of good bounces last year and is actually back to their typical 8-5 type seasons.

669-107 yardage favor for OSU versus Rutgers. Yikes.

Both of these things are true.

Iowa always plays for the bounces going there way. Whenever Iowa has had a great season, they got the bounces.

Yes, Ferentz has checked out. He just needs 7 wins. When Iowa gets 7 wins, the contract guarantees a year of the extension.

Yep, thats right, 7 whole wins and he gets 4.5 million dollars. Our AD is an absolute joke.

As soon as Ferentz signed that extension, Iowa started playing like they did 2 seasons ago when they went 4-8. Stupid.

The Longhorn secondary seems to have forgotten how to cover and how to tackle. Hard to win in a passing conference if you can't do both of those things.

And Iowa State turned back into ISU just in time apparently.

And, yeah, 2nd possession Chubb carries the ball for UGA.

Never believed for a minute he wouldn't at least give it a try. Even less doubt about that once I saw "he'll definitely be back for next week's game"

UVA gets another win, but only by 14 despite 5 INTs thrown by Duke.

CU not having any issues with Oregon St. It's not that this team SHOULD have any issues with them, but this isn't exactly a team that has dealt with a lot of success the last decade. CU won this matchup 17-13 last year on the road.

In Boulder this year, it's 27-6 with 5 minutes left in the second quarter. CU is outgaining them 314 to 136. I'm not really used to this sort of thing. I hope this team is getting built for the long haul. It's fun to win again.

South Carolina with a 75 yard TD run on the first play of the game against aTm. Probably going to be their only highlight of the day.

I'd hate to imagine watchign a team that shows up for kickoff less prepared, less able, or less willing to play 4 quarters than Tennessee.

Performing exactly as I expected. They needed an enormous comeback to beat a badly overrated team playing with its backup QB a week ago.

They'll need more than that today.

I said last week's outcome got the staff & the players a mulligan on their first half issues. I don't see one forthcoming two weeks in a row.

Be glad you're not a Furman fan. It's just 1AA, but they were down 35-0 in the first half. At home. To a team in their second year of any football.

yeah, Jon, the team is just not well coached. Even if they come back here it doesn't change that.

I'm not sure if you remember how closely the CU program and Tenn. program are related with the Jones hire. He came on the CU campus for a visit and everyone thought he had the job here until the Vols came calling. He signed there (which is a much better job, I didn't blame him then and I don't now)

CU was forced to go back to the drawing board and hired Mike Macintyre two weeks later. After watching Tennessee the last couple of weeks and seeing the CU turnaround, I think we got the better guy for half the money. (though that contract is likely going to be looked at if this season keeps going this way)

Iowa's best player tweeted that we were outcoached today. Interesting. This player is the Thorpe award winner. And he isnt a captain. Trouble inside the program?

Yep. Goes right back to Ferentz.

Bo would have liked this Michigan-Wisconsin game I think(dunno about that 'centipede' formation though). One thing Speight needs to learn to do is to throw the ball away more instead of taking sacks.

what an INT to essentially end the Michigan game. That might be the best INT I've ever seen.

One of the best and dumbest all at the same time. Probably meaningless but if he just knocks it down first and goal inside the 10 for Michigan. Kind of normal in todays football though. Seems like a lot of players lack good football sense.

Score was not necessarily the best indicator of the Wisconsin-Michigan game. Wisconsin's offense had absolutely no hope against that defense. Wisconsin's defense played well, but if Michigan had any semblance of a kicker, it's not quite as close.

Honestly, it feels like a perfect setup for disaster. Vols come in having accomplished something, against a hostile wounded animal on the road. I can easily see Georgia doing to UT pretty much what Ole Miss to the Georgia.

If both play to their ability, Georgia wins by low double digits, that's how big the talent gap seems to be IMO. Since neither has shown much tendency to actually play to that level for four quarters, this could be anything from a 40 point win by either to a last-second nailbiting instant classic.

That's no help I'm sure, but it's all I got.

Frankly have to say that Jon was pretty accurate in this assessment. A *lot* of heavy drinking going on in Tennessee and Georgia tonight. Plus the instant classic bit.

As woeful as USC are right now, massively excited about Sam Darnold. Lot of people around the program think he's potentially the best QB for the Trojans since Carson Palmer, and tough to argue with that right now, although it's early

The Louisville - Clemson officiating crew should be replaced at halftime. They're letting Clemson get away with murder. That Boulware kid is a worthless POS.

Louisville is completely mentally out of it now. The blatant holding by the Clemson DBs on every route and the rear naked choke "tackle" on their QB has their focus on the incompetent referees.

Wow, that drive sure feels like a dagger.

It may or may not be (given the way this season has gone all over the place) but it sure looks like one.
