Yeah I will concede I'm just a slob making amateur observations....but Bosa strikes me as that typical effort prospect that does well in college but looks much more human vs NFL competition.

The Giants could take Tunsil, take a risk on Jack (they won't)...or trade down I suppose.

Nevermind, pick is in.

It's going to be hard for a GM to sell the Tunsil pick to an octogenarian owner watching the weed video.

If his name was Mike Smith and you saw those combine numbers, you'd think he was just a guy. And he's never more than a situational rush guy in a 3-4. I just don't get it.

Super glad Apple went already, I didn't want the Bengals taking him.

It seems odd to me. The Giants have always preached the "best player available" draft strategy. Maybe they did try to trade down and simply didn't get a good enough deal. Apple (based solely on all of the "experts" because I don't pay attention to college much) seems like a reach at #10.

I wonder if they see something in Apple that makes them think he can be moved to FS and be great at it...

Edit: Just read some of the scouting reports on Apple, and everyone praises his ability to cover receivers in man coverage. So I guess they think he will be a better fit for their scheme than VH3.

Glad Saints didn't trade up. Love if they could trade back. Lots of good D still on the board

I assume you are talking about Tunsil. I was about to post the same thing. This video wouldn't knock him off my board. I hope he lasts 'til 20 with the Jets.

Yeah, precisely. I mean, you'd have to assume it was old. It's probably a thing someone had that he forgot about, it got extorted out of somebody and bam they get him. But this is absolutely a cautionary tale for these guys to manage their social affairs better. I dunno.

Man I don't remember so many of the high picks having so many negative things said about them as this draft. Guess this draft pool wasn't vert deep after all.

I wonder if the just drafted Tunsil will be taken in the back and told to take a urine test now

While there's an assumption that the video knocked Tunsil down so far, he was among the most frequently cited bust predictions in our own thread here earlier today.

While we're not highly paid executives, that seems like at least a reasonable indication that there could be some concerns about his draft stock before that video hit.

So, uh, Browns ... wouldn't having a QB make that pick look better?

It does help if the QB has someone to throw it to.

Now Tunsil's instragram has been hacked. I'm sure he used the same password and didn't think to change it. Someone posting screen caps of what would appear to be texts between him and the Ole Miss coaching staff about getting them to pay his mom's rent and utilities. https://www.instagram.com/kingtunsil/

I am SHOCKED that Ole Miss somehow recruited top ten classes by paying them. Who could have possibly seen that possibility?

Steelers should take Miles Jack if he falls to 25. Even if they need to redshirt him.

Sure. We're basically the Lions anyways. Get him some reps cause Jarvis Jones is gone next year. Get his knee fixed, micro fracture isn't that scary to me.

well there goes who everybody said the Cards would take. From the package, I can see why they were interested in him. Think trading down becomes more of an option for them now.

Just for reference, Reggie Bush had microfracture and had 3 years near 1000 yards after it.

I don't know how he fits / doesn't fit in Buffalo off hand but for value at a spot, I kinda like the Lawson pick at 19

Darron Lee blows the pattern of OSU picks going to teams with blue and white colors.

It is not a happy war room here in my basement at the moment.

My son has realized the very real prospect (which I've been telling him for two years) of spending virtually his entire college experience at a school that's under heavy probation.
