I would be surprised if tonight is not high scoring.

Philly can score on most anyone with this system, and can't stop anyone with a tired D.

I predict the over, Phillys defense gravitationally pulls other teams to the end zone and Philly's offense has looked more than just impossible to stop. I''m thinking the total score hits the 60's.

Talked me into the over as well.

Also went ahead and put a little on Clemson. They'll "Clemson" another week.

Wonder how many people from Clemson to Las Vegas died on the inside when Dabo decided to go for it on fourth down there at the end of the game?

There are at least 2 angry posters at one of the Clemson fan board sites that accused Dabo of some sort of fix for not kicking the late FG.

0-2. Great fucking start to the weekend. I never learn my lesson with late bets. You'd think I would by now, but no. I'm set for the weekend:

Utah +7 in the Holy War
Michigan -18 against UConn

I want the Gators bad, but I am holding off for now. I'm sure I'll put in another brilliant late bet on Saturday

I like UM over UCONN as well.

I am thinking the over tonight, 68.5. Lots of points but I can see a good old fashioned shootout.

Before last week's game against Akron I would have been there with you. I'm staying away this week until they prove they can take care of the football.

I threw in a parlay as well. I've got:

Vikings -7
Patriots -7
Saints -7
Cowboys -3.5
Giants -2.5

Didn't love taking all favorites but I felt pretty comfortable w/ those five games so we'll see.

Game-wise I was 1-2, money-wise I split though. And then I picked up the Bears -1/2 pt for the first half and hit a really nice amount. It pained me as a Steelers fan but now I figure I can root for a second half resurrection. So, since I made my $, go Steelers!

A buddy of mine was trying to talk me into taking the 2nd half bet on the Bears -13 1/2 but I figure the more the Steelers go to throw, the better chance they have of tightening this up.

Ha, yeah, I've only done well in college football during bowl season. The regular season used to kick my @ss when I went to Vegas a lot.

Huh, guess I should've taken the second half bet. Oh well.

Looking a lot at the Thursday night game. The 49'ers are -1 for the first half and I'm really tempted to go in strong there despite the fact that they're on the road and that the Rams had their number last year. Still on the fence so I'll post tomorrow if I do.

I think that's a strong play.

The Niners will be pissed. The Rams are not playing well.

Yeah, that's really my thought on it. The only thing that has me concerned in regards to the Niners is Aldon Smith is out, Patrick Willis is likely out, and Vernon Davis is hurting. I'm thinking that they're pissed enough though to really roll it up.

Alright, so I went for it with the Niners -1 for the first half and went in pretty strong so we'll see.
