It's all on you now, Mr. Al Mighty, to lead us to the promised land!

Kind of poetic justice how I came on so strong last season as the #6 WR because of injuries...and now I go down. Bummer.

Any word on what the injury is?

The lack of new recruits coming to UCLA disturbs me.

Huge game for Brian Butts, 23 carries for 188 yards and also 5 catches for 55 yards. Jacksonville, worst in the league last year, is 8-2 this year.

Week 10 Highlights

UCLA finally gets over the Washington hurdle and moves to 7-0. Rob Nielsen struggled a bit, 17-30 for 300 yards and 2 touchdowns, but 4 interceptions. David Gonzalez caught 4 passes for 93 yards and a score.

Izulde Jestor had a strong game, 28 carries for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns but the Wisconsin defense let them down in a 42-35 loss.

Chas Swaggs continues to be a lock down corner as he picks off another pass, his 6th in 7 games. He leads the country in interceptions.

Texas took care of Baylor, 38-20, behind Moe Farley's 20-31, 284 yards, 3 touchdown performance.

Arizona State shuts out their second straight opponent. Nick Thomas picked up 7 tackles.

Great game for Ches O'Peake as Maryland moves to 7-2. 11 tackles and an interception for a touchdown.

Wahoo McDaniel is on an absolute tear lately. After a 27 carry, 118 yard, 3 touchdown game he now has 484 yards and 9 touchdowns in his last 3 games, all Miami wins.

Barry White is looking to lead Michigan to a national title with the way he is playing. 14-21 for 316 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 41-10 win. White has 13 touchdowns and no picks in his past four games. Could we have a new Heisman frontrunner? Larry McGillicuddy was tough as well with 19 carries foe 111 yards.

What a terrific game for Deacon Palmer as Alabama moves to 8-0, the back to back champs 34th straight win. Palmer picked up 3 sacks. He has 7.5 on the year.

Tyrone Hughes picks up an interception to go with his 5 tackles in a 24-7 win for Iowa. Mike Schaplowsky played great, 23-39 for 363 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Yet another tough FOFC injury. Nick Phillips, in his first game back from an injury ran for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns before getting hurt again. His season is done.

UCLA jumps to the top spot followed by fellow FOFC teams Michigan and Ohio State. Michigan and Ohio State still have to face each other while UCLA has #7 Stanford to contend with in a few weeks. Alabama has to feel snubbed, sitting in 6th despite being 8-0, back to back champs, and winners of 34 straight.

The paltry number of INTs is irritating, to say the least. I need two per game to make up for my fallen teammates.

Michigan State gets a hard fought 15-13 win over Illinois. Clyde Harp picks up 12 tackles.

UCLA gets a good 35-28 win over Stanford. Rob Nielsen was 24-45 for 428 yards and 3 touchdowns, he also threw 2 picks. David Gonzalez caught 8 passes for 178 yards. On the other side, Craig Ingram struggled with his accuracy, 13-30 for 292 yards, 2 touchdowns and a pick.

Wisconsin dominated Indiana, 52-0. Izulde Jestor ran the ball 11 times for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also had 3 catches for 37 yards and 1 touchdown.

Tennessee took care of Vanderbilt, 38-7. Will Brown ran the ball 16 times for 93 yards and a touchdown. He also had 2 catches for 62 yards and a touchdown.

Pitt beat UConn 38-17, Chas Swaggs picked off his 7th pass of the season.

Bad news out of South Bend. Jace Hunter was 10-16 for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns before getting knocked out with a broken jaw. They say it will take 10 weeks to heal, it looks like his college career is over. Deion Prescott came in in relief and was 5-7 for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Dean Hoo was the only Florida State offense as they beat Virginia, 9-0.

Maryland holds off Clemson, 14-13 behind Ches O'Peake's 10 tackles.
