I didn't see a bad "nation" Coffee's stuck out because I thought Einstein and Shakespeare are arguably tops in their field and they are surrounded by other impressive names.

Very good job...very interesting to look through it all.

Unless you subscribe to the theory that Shakespeares stuff was actually written by someone else..Interesting theory...

Nice, so if you combine DT's and my rosters we finish in second! I'll take it!

assuming anybody can take a shot at this...

1. Surtt
2. Abe Sargent
3. CW

sorry Danny, the rest of your picks were very impressive and would definitely have been in my top 3 but considering what Hitler stood for, the things he did to his own people and the state he left his nation in at the end of his "reign" I can't get past that pick

Yeah, I would have changed that pick looking back, I went for the big name in the 20th century but really was only a good pick in the last history draft when it was an evil person category. Obviously if I was really building a nation he would be one of my last choices. To be fair though, quite a few of those ancient rulers or army commanders were quite cruel too.

I just can't deny how effectively, for his purposes, that Hitler lead his nation. Danny has a team full of the most famous of people, but they are also among the most effective at their positions.

Lets hope so otherwise his nation would have to watch the murders of Pope John Paul II and Ghandi inside the Colosseum as Hitler tries a coup d'etat.

And Im sorry Danny I wont make any more Hitler comments

Your nation would do very well in all areas except I have a bad feeling that your nation wouldnt be able to hold up when the big bullies come in and try to get rid of your peaceful nation.

Hannibal was a great pick.

Themistocles from what I remember was known more as a politician and a man with ideas that withstood the test of time.

And Hod Im not very familair with other than his accomplishments in the six day war.

I should look back at my history in these drafts, I think I have always finished 3rd-5th, always a bridesmaid, never a bride!

NVM, I finished 8th in the other historical draft, but did notch 3rd place in the TV family draft. So I will use mode as my measure of central tendency and say I finish around 3rd usually.
