That needs to be the final play of Brooking's career with the Falcons. He's been an overrated disappointment from day one in the NFL and that's not easy for me to say since he's a Tech guy.

Well, a little disappointed that the Falcons won't be winning this one. I feel partially that we were "playing on house money" so to speak though, as we went much further then I expected to start the season.

Looking at this team, I don't feel this was a last chance to win, but instead a start of something big. I hope next year that Atlanta can address some huge holes in the defense and build upon this season rather than just take a big step back as they have always done in the past.

Let's hope so. Congrats, Cards. Y'all just plain wanted it more.

I agree with you actually Alan, I worry a bit about a sophomore slump from Ryan after these last two games he played, but overall there is miles and miles more of hope and good news in Atlanta than there has been for a while. They had an incredible season though and they should be proud of that.

I do think ATL will struggle next season. Ryan will improve, but this is the most carriers in Turners career, and I cannot help but wonder how he'll hold up next year.

If Turner goes down, this team is going tp be in deep trouble.

Now on the flipside, if Turner stays healthy and Ryan developes as he should, they'll be a contender in the South.

Still, those could be two big if's.

Oh and Go Cards! What a reilef to get that playoff monkey off their backs. Their defense is still going to be their downfall in the playoffs, but if they can keep that running game going it may not matter too much.

Now I'm pulling for the Eagles to win tomorrow so the Cards get Carolina instead of the Giants. Yeah the Panthers have beaten them 5 straight times, including this season, but it was the closest game the Cards had against an East Coast team, and the weather should be a lot nicer than in likely will be in NY. And the Panthers don't scare me as much as the Giants do overall.

Congrats to the Cardinals, very happy to see Kurt win in the playoffs again. I love the Falcons too and I think they will be a good team for a while and look forward to them being in the playoffs.

Such a great drive by the Chargers there ruined by that fumble. Rivers and Sproles are shredding the Colts D. This game is heading for a Peyton Manning last minute drive for the win or a Nate Kaeding choke job.

Wow. Huge plays by Rivers, two good (run for 16, QB Sneak on 4th and inches), then one bad (horrible throw, intercepted in the end zone)

And another terrible turnover for the Chargers. Two great chances to at least tie and no points. Rivers had a sick 3rd down run and Norv pulled out all the stops on that 4th down, but just a terrible throw by Rivers after that.

They shouldn't take the safety up by only 3. It would be too easy for SD to drive for the GW FG.

Yes, it is. Very entertaining. I hate to see Norv get any positive credit, but for some reason I'm rooting for the Chargers.

Edit: I think that is part of it. Sproles is so much fun to watch.

SD didn't play to win the game.....Herm Edwards would be disappointed. Time will tell if that was the right move to go for the win a little more.

Exactly what I was thinking. They didn't play to win there at the end of regulation. I cannot believe they spiked it with a minute left.

San Diego showing a lot of Heart and a lot of mistakes in this game. give them props for Sproles and the Punter being on freaking fire.

All said and done the Colts won a title already, I'll root for the Chargers to stay alive for a shot.

2 Def. holding calls on the drive. The Colts defense is just handing the game to the Chargers. And just as I type this, a 15 yard facemask penalty.
