SHe was crawling on the floor with your sons head , and head only, exposed? Did I read that right?
The mental picture of that is really crazy.

Congrats on the new addition. Thanks for the story. We had our kids in a hospital and really had great experiences. Ive never heard a story of a birthing center experience.

Awesome birth story! Thanks for sharing. Congrats on the not-so-little one

My first was at a birth center when we lived in Massachusetts and it was an awesome experience. I'm trying to talk RendeR into a home birth for whenever we have the third because there's no birth centers here in Buffalo and my second was born in the car in front of the hospital.

Though I must admit, just the thought of childbirth creeps me out... Maybe a side-effect of being young still...

Yes a boy. It is M-eye-lo, not M-ee-lo. Although with where we live I am guessing he will get used to both ways to some extent....that happens even for kids named Jorge(George) here though. (This is because of the wide-spread use of Spanish here)

Thanks for the congrats everyone. Whole thing is very weird. That whole 'it's very real now' feeling of a new baby combined with disbelief he isn't 24 hours old yet, add onto that I haven't worked for five days and now have to try to get back into that. Nothing like mixing things up a little with a new kid.

Not sure I would live long if I put up pics of Loren from the last couple of days, she doesn't even want any taken with her in them, lol. I will get some up of Milo though sometime soon.

No argument. I told her I won't even argue how bad my kidney stones were anymore comparef to this birth. She's a fighter, and stubborn.

Woohoo, congrats!

We have a sonogram scheduled for Thursday and will (hopefully) find out the sex of the little one currently residing in my wife. I can't believe we're half way along already...
