Now that this thread popped up again, I just have to say that I have no idea what "the Special (G)One?" means. Special (gay) one? Gone, going with the idea that he resigned? Why the parenthesis? Is this to throw some hooligans off the trail, they'd beat you up if you suggested he was "gone"? And if so, why is he "special"? Really befuddling.

In a press conference upon joining the English side, Mourinho said, "Please don't call me arrogant, but I'm an European champion and I think I'm a special one", which resulted in the media dubbing him "The Special One".
