Nope ... but after nearly 40 years of solid support, I've done enough suffering to have earned a little sweat equity.

My thought on that playcall was a quick check downfield, and a dumpoff to pick up 6-7 yards - even short of the first down, it would have put us back in FG range (which Bell was about two yards short of). Need the defense to step up now.

That's cool. I went to Western Michigan, but I've always been a huge MSU Spartan fan, so I understand.

I think I'm more questioning the personnel decision than the playcall (since Bennett dumped it awfully quick, not neccessarily a playcall problem). Then again, none of the backs have gotten much in the way of looks on pass plays all season.

Maybe you slip a receiver into the formation for that sort of play, but I suppose that creates it's own set of problems too. Just frustrating to not have the bodies for certain situations.

Yay, WVU! Even without Reggie Ball, West Virginia was able to pull it out .

Really? Grant looked really good in the old Charlie Rogers role early in the year... I know he didn't get in much the second half of the season, but they successfully ran one other slot-screen similarly earlier in the game. I was happy to see him get some looks.

Well, it's because you played an offensive juggernaut, who had over 425 yards of offense themselves.

Same score as the Sugar Bowl last year. I guess WVU should start working on the Florida schools next.

Unreal - I turned it off at 35-17 and came in to work for some catchup and I see this thread. Can't believe Tech lost!

Also - I don't follow college football, but I am assuming that Calvin Johnson kid is going to be a top 3 pick in the draft next season...

If he does indeed declare for the draft (he's just a junior), then I'd think he has to be in at least the top 5 (depending upon needs, etc.)

Apparently one of the West Virginia fans left a present for the GT band during halftime.

The Hive posters act like this is surprising.

It's WVU fans...just be glad they didn't set fire to the GT band.

Surprisingly, band members are a lot more fire resistant than couches.

I don't know, those old-timey felt uniforms go up pretty quick.

I saw this a few days earlier.

Quite a few holes in this poster's story.

No evidence that he is a WVU fan (his hat and clothes don't have anything to do with WVU).

No evidence that he did what the poster says.

Poster took the time to take a series of snapshots, but didn't get any of the guy getting arrested or removed by the officer.

Sounds like some BS to me.
