Nash for MVP? How? Because Amare is out? Who votes on that thing? The media?

I look for the Nuggets to ship him to the Knicks this off season and get back one or two of the Knicks ridiculous G contracts.

Well, he was a pretty big part of the success when Kidd was there and the real problem was, Kidd and Co. wanted to leave after the team got rid of him, so they had to damage control. But yeah, in hindsight it was probably a good move for the Nets.

94-79 with the Mavs on cruise control for most of the second half. Off to Memphis for another win or two...

Go Lakers.

If they hold Phoenix under 100 points a game they have a great chance to win the series

Posey better be suspended for that shit.

Literally just ran into Hinrich, lowered his shoulder, and dropped him.

I can see this going 7, though. After the way thugorific Miami looked out there today, don't see them doing well Sunday (again, what's with the damn 800 day layoffs between games. Fucking $$$)

Of course, I'm not sure I can see the Bulls taking a game in Miami, though they've come close.

Why are these games starting so late?

Did Denver have a local 9PM start time? That means it will end some time around 3AM on the East Coast?

Miami has a bunch of assholes on that team, never really had paid attention before. You got Zo, Posey, JWill, Payton, Antione Walker.....its like a collection of players coaches tell kids to either not act like or play like or both. If John Starks coached the Heat it would be even better. I'm suprised they didnt sign Spree.

I know, that is why I can't believe this game had a 9PM start time. (MST)

It is 11PM in Colorado and we are still in the 3rd quarter!

Zo plays ball like a thug, he's been a cheapshot artist his whole entire career, elbows, etc. And then that whole deal with the Nets and Raptors pretty well soured me on him. The whole "I'll only play if I go somewhere I want to, otherwise my kidneys are bad" fiasco where he pretty much stole 20 million. He has done some nice work in the community I suppose

Steve Nash has to be the MVP. I'm simply amazed he got this Suns team with absolutely no front court to 54 wins and a 2nd seed in the west.

No, I'm with you. I mean, I'm okay with the Nets deal in the end because we managed to get Vince Carter out of the deal. And Toronto didn't HAVE to settle with him. But...yeah, I'm not really impressed with him either, bum kidneys or not, for the way his comeback was orchestrated and how ungracious he was, thinking that a team owed him something.

I'd love to see them lose for that and of course, to see Sportscenter clips of Micheal Jordan cheering on the Bulls, where he belongs.

That makes no sense? I think the Suns are a good team, but your basically giving him the award for the fact that he can find the open man who can hit an open shot. You can replace Nash with Kobe, Lebron, Wade, and Billups et al and you'd still have a hell of a team.

One thing is for sure Phil >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mike D

Billups maybe, but the rest are more shoot first, pass second players. They're all great players, but Nash looks to make his team better first. There is almost no way the Suns are a 2 seed without Nash.

Like I said, =Nash is blessed with players who can shoot the ball well. Kobe can pass the ball 20 times to an open player who shoots, but if that said player only knocks it down 3 times, Kobe only gets 3 assists regardless of how good of a chance he gave his teammates to score

LA up 2-1 now.

Kobe's undergone an amazing transformation during this series... because he probably knows that the only way you can beat the Suns is by getting the big mean involved.

Kwame and Lamar have stepped up big time.

They are looking great. The gameplan is working great.

If the Lakers can continue to hold Phoenix under 100 points they win the series.

And I really believe the Lakers can beat either Denver or Clippers in the next round too.

Then i hope the Mavs beat San Antonio, because Lakers match up well vs Dallas.

Mavs pulled out a thriller tonight to go up 3-0 on the Grizz. Hopefully they can sweep 'em and have a chance to rest while the Spurs battle the Kings...
