After Croyle's 11th sack, I think he is just trying to prove to the pro scouts he is durable.

Unless a miracle happens, Penn State has won the Big 10 (and a BCS berth). I didn't think Joe Pa could do it, but wow... props to him.

LOL.. have to give it up the ESPN Gameday guys (2nd team). The host (Reece Davis?) was saying stay turned for the Miami v. GTech game and they showed Miami. He then says "Oh no, not them too, with the orange thing on the shoulder" (paraphrased). I 100% agree!

I *still* don't understand why Penn State is in the Big 10, but, yes, congratulations Nittany Lions.

I also *still* don't know what a nittany lion is.

10-7 Miami at the half. I am getting real tired of these slow starts especially by the O-line. It is like they don't get the idea until Kehoe starts throwing shit at halftime.

Ome more thing. Calvin Johnson would look real good in a Dolphin uniform in a couple years. He is a hell of a receiver

From the GT perspective, this thing seems like a ticking time bomb. Our O-line is completely outclassed, and as long as UM picks up the blitz, Wright will be able to find mismatches in the secondary.

That said, Eric Henderson is wearing out the left side of the Cane O-line.

It seems to me that the GT O-line is tipping the play. I've been pretty succesful guessing the play pre-snap watching on tv.

The playbook is pretty limited to begin with, but I'm not at all surprised to hear than an outsider can successfully guess them.

Yeah, this is the first time I've watched them play, but I think I guessed the first five plays just looking at the formation. I don't just mean guessing pass/run, but run left/right or pass short/deep.

No doubt. I don't know if Winston has recovered from his knee injury from last year but he has steadily regressed from a 1st round LT to a guy who may need to be switch to the right side or to guard

I'm guessing that Kyle Wright is about 7-24 right now. He's been awful.... not that it's all his fault.

Ball has actually played quite well, imo. He's had to throw the ball away quite a bit in order to avoid sacks.

Wright's been pretty bad, although he's been under a lot of pressure as well.

Bad idea to bet the game on your offense's ability to get a first down at this point.

Great game ... I'm shocked GaTech could stay with Miami, much less pull off the upset. I figured this game for a blowout.

While it did look like a boneheaded play, it may have been a good one too..

There was a guy cruising in around the 5 yard line when the ball was still moving at a brisk pace on the 1-2 yard line, the ball could have taken a little higher hop allowing GT to slap it back in to the 1 yard line. The announcers were a little quick to call it a mental error.

Plus, the guy wanted to make something happen, which is what Miami needed big time.

Yeah - I really thought it was going to get stopped just before the line, until that last bounce.

Congrats to GT and their fans. I guess Chan is worth that extension after all. Tough loss for the Canes. The offense is based on the running game and when you can only run for 29 yards. We really seemed to miss Tyrone Moss in this game.

I really wish I'd put money on the game. It had upset written all over it. GT has had a horrible week, with the probation and even their AD saying they shouldn't expect much from the team. It had to have the team itching to prove something. Whereas Miami wasn't feeling threatened at all.

Meanwhile, LSU quietly beats Ole Miss 40-7 and will move up one more spot with the Miami loss. If LSU wins out (they have to beat Arkansas at LSU Friday and then Georgia in the SECCG), and if anyone at the top gets upset, you could be looking at LSU in the Rose Bowl. An outside chance, sure, but possible. The name of the game is not to lose late in the season.

Agreed. I actually figured Miami had about a 50/50 shot at sneaking in if they had won out, figuring Texas still has the Big XII championship game (remember OU vs. Kansas State a couple years back?) and USC still has 2 teams with a combined 2 losses on their schedule.

Maybe PSU can sneak ahead of LSU with that big win. They should gain a few points in the polls, but probably not enough to overtake LSU in any of them.
