Regarding #15, I can't name half the people there. I regonize Scott Weiland there in the loer left though, haven't seen his name brought up yet.

The first modern winter olympic games was in 1924, which fits well with the question... but, according to Wikipedia, luge wasn't an olympic sport until 1964.

Regarding the luge question #24:

The 1924 Winter Olympics weren't declared to be an Olympiad until 1925 (list of Winter Olympic events started in 1925). The very first gold medal awarded in the 1924 games was for the 500 meter speedskating event.
