Meanwhile, Leinart has been pretty good today: 15 of 18 for 232 yds & 3 TD's ... in the first quarter.

HOLY CRAP!!!

Maryland 21 @ Florida State 14 at the half.

I have no idea why Joel Statham only shows up to play against Florida State (see last year's game for reference), but I'm not going to complain. Now we just need to hold on for the game. GO TERPS!!!!

come on guys, are you kidding me? Stuffed 3 times from the 1 yard line, and settle for a field goal.... 24-14 Rutgers.

well, i agree on kicking the field goal... but not getting in on 3 cracks from the 1 is pitiful.

Good stop by the Rutgers Defense. Now the offense needs to step up.

Hasn't been mentioned yet so I thought I would...

OU beat Nebraska. Just as last week, it looked like OU would cruise but then allowed their opponent to get back into it. Adrian Peterson was back and played well. The Sooners are finally starting to come together a little bit.

The interesting thing is that despite all the gloom and doom predictions early on, they're not that far from where most people expected them to be. Without Peterson, they weren't even competitive against Texas which might not have been expected. But their losses have come to some teams that have proven to be pretty good, and their wins, while not dominating, are beginning to come.

Wonder if winning in Nebraska gets them back in the Top 25.

Agreed, we've seen their penchant for letting a team in it late, so i want them to get up by as much as possible as soon as possible.

I don't have a huge problem with it (mostly because it wasn't something obvious that I would have noticed if it weren't for the replay review), but I'd swear that Tereshinski's knee was on the ground before he pitched the ball.

wow.... sounds like the Bandwagon is filling up! The Rutgers is game is a sellout and their 2nd biggest crowd in stadium history. To my knowledge this is only the 3rd sellout there ever.

Yeah, and it's only the 2nd time they had more than the designated capacity.

I was cooking dinner while it happened, but one of Maryland's safeties suffered a head/neck injury It sounded serious from what the announcers were saying. I know it stopped the game for about 5-10 minutes before they could safely move him off the field and take him to the hospital.

Edit: The Maryland-FSU is the most interesting game I'm getting on TV right now.

I'm not posting here in a hope to keep focusing on the game.
Harris (27) is the guy hurt, they've taken him by ambulance to a local hospital.

With that FG, we're up 27-21. GO LANCE BALL!!!

Is there anything more frustrating than "watching" ESPN's Gamecast?! Sometimes plays are shown for the wrong team, sometimes they're out of order. Sometimes the score changes, but there's no text to explain it.

It's like listening to the Mandarin Chinese broadcast of the Super Bowl.

Well, I am happy that OU won. They have improved quite a bit since the beginning of the season. Looks like Rhett is going to work out fine, and in a few years, we will be in the hunt for another national title
