The announcing people have been talking about this for weeks. pennington's shoulder is simply not the same arm he had before the surgery. he has no real arm strength, and on top of that I get the impression from watching him that he's actually afraid to really let it rip, fearing it will tear again.

Another Falcons corner back limps off the field, which makes the total of healthy cb on the team 1.

I hate to be such a pessimist, but if Fiedler looks good and the Jets win this game, we may be seeing the beginning of the end for Pennington.

Titans just scored 14 point in like a 45 second time span. Kyle van Boschen sack and fumble by Bulger with Antan Odom returend for a 25 yard TD. Score 24-24 2 minutes left 3rd.

Vick has looked more like a quarterback in this game than I think I've ever seen him. He has thrown passes to 6 different recievers, and has twice as many passes to his wideouts than he does to his TE and backs. He still has run, but he has converted several third and longs by checking down through his progressions.

Wow... an unbelievable play by David Barrett just now in the Jets game. Strips the ball, chases it about 10 yards back to recover it, then turns around and it returns it about 35 yards.

Leftwich is tough in these late game situations...

And I just saw Bobby Wade, WR for the Bears, has 3 fumbles.. lost only one, but he is a freakin reciever.

The hammy makes him have to stay in the pocket more. He's doing pretty decent throwing the ball in the game.

First series of the game and 4th-1 at midfield for the Cowboys. Parcells goes for it and Julius gets the first. Very, very nice...

Lance Schulters INT, returned to the Carolina 25 inside 2 mins. Carolina only have 1 TO - run the clock, kick the FG, let's all go home!

Pennington has just been horrible. If you have a weak arm and you are playing the Jags, stay the hell away from Mathis. He's too freakin good.

That said, I love the Jags. I really do. But their offensie is horrible. It reminds me of the Marty coached Chiefs. They are so concerned with TOP that they run on first down every single time. You just can't do that on NFL defenses.

Even in OT. You make a great INT, you have the ball at midfield and you run the damned ball on first down. One of the things that does is it ensures your QB can never get into a rythm. And if on cue, Leftwich comes up short on a long pass to Matt Jones that was a sure TD. Underthrows it and the Jets pick it off.

Just horrible.
