No. He was an All-American last year, and has had multiple 70+ yard punts. His problem is that he's inconsistant.

SI

Yup. I heard several. Again, wasn't as much the fans, though, so no slight on them. Just the same talking heads that seem to need a Notre Dame championship for some reason.

If MSU continues to play like this for the next few weeks, does Drew Stanton finally get mentioned in the Heisman race? He deserves to be in my opinion.

I really hate loose zones defenses when my team has the lead. They got this lead by being aggressive, yet they start to let off in the 3rd quarter? That's a concern.

So right before third quarter ends, here are the three things that are KILLING the Irish

1) Inability to stop Stanton, especially on 3rd downs.
2) Two big turnovers (one returned for a TD, the other while about to maybe score one).
3) MFing stupid penalties.

I hate to inform you that it'll be just like every other year that UM looses to ND, then MSU beats ND. M by 3td's...

Ok. As someone who is not a big college football fan, and isn't watching on TV or anything...

...the yahoo scoreboard says "Sir Darean Adams intercepted Brady Quinn for 31 yards (John Goss made PAT)."

Has this kid been knighted, or are his parents retarded?

His mom added the Sir to his name legally because she wanted to make sure that people treated him with respect. I think it's pretty cool.

Wow. I don't know what else to say. Wow.

I mean, where I grew up, that kid would have been roasted alive for that name.

And I have to think that in a professional world, he's going to have many people sniggering behind his back.

He grew up in the projects and his mom was poor. Maybe she encountered real racism at some point and wanted to make a point. Regardless, what's the difference between this and a kid named Buddy or something? Oh well, I still think it's a cool name.

Nice non-touchdown celebration. Those two could compete in pairs figure skating.

I was rooting for the Spartans, but damn, Schmidty is obnoxious. And Sir is a stupid name to give your child, I don't care if he grew up in a broom closet of a Spanish nobleman.
