As we all probably knew, but didn't want to be true, SkyDog, battling severe cases of split personality, has forever gone over to using GroundCat as a forum alias, and since he banned himself in a moment of temporary blackouts, he now resides over att deanhouston.org.

All that talk of another board has got me thinking though, FOFC is indeed much less active than before... There was a time when, if you were offline for a day, you'd have 4 or 5 pages of new posts awaiting on your return. Now, it's barely a couple of pages... and most of them aren't that interesting either...

Probably due to the fact that the text sim market is VERY stale right now, and has been for some time now (pretty annoying actually).

It always seems to get like that in the summer. Once fall hits, people are indoors more, more sports are on TV, more sim games are released, etc, etc.

#2 I won't argue. #1 I scoff at. We don't know for sure. Aren't most of you still playing FOF 2004? Did NCAA Football 2006 just come out? True there have been updates, but with Jim's "closed mouth" policy, nobody really knows for sure.

I'm not so much "upset" at his absence as I am a bit bewildered and concerned. It is unlike him to be absent for such a long period of time without notice. I do hope he's OK.

Not to interrupt, but I talked with Skydog online a few days ago and he's doing fine. He just has a spotty internet connection so he doesn't post unless something major goes on. So, keep in mind that he is still lurking from time to time
