If the Saints do anything but handoff to McAlister, the owner should fire Haslett right on the field.

Boy, what a guy Randy Moss is. Maybe he was looking for a kid to give a ball to...in the locker room?

Speaking of fraud teams, how about the Jets? Can't they even beat this soft Rams team? I don't see them going far in the playoffs. Santana Moss is a complete bust. Talk about a guy taking a season off.

The Jets hold the Vikings playoff hopes in their hands right now. They're at midfield, down by 3.

True. But I think that if the Panthers lose, they are in automatically?

Great. Was watching the ending of the Jets/Rams games and due to NFL contractual agreements, they have to switch to the @%#$! Broncos game and so we don't get to see the last 4 minutes.

Good point. I believe the Saints are the odd team out in a NO/MIN/STL 3-way tie.

I really wish the NFL did the right thing before this season and offer steaming games on the web similar to MLB.COM.

They can beat San Diego, but they would be destroyed by Indy.

I don't have any illusions about this Jets team. Winning one playoff game is as far as they can go.

Not so sure about that. San Diego is great against the run. They'd force the game into Pennington's hands, and right now, I don't think he can lead them to victory.

First of all, they've already beaten them this year.

Second of all, the Jets are also good against the run. I'm fine with it coming down to Penningont vs. Brees.

Does anyone here have the NFL League pass audio package? Do you find listening to the games enjoyable?

Barring a TD on the kickoff return, Jets-Rams is going to overtime.

The Jets can't gain anything with a win (thanks to the Buffalo loss). They're apparently going to San Diego no matter what.

I was yelling at the TV that they should just go for it on 4th. What does an OT accomplish for them? All it does is risk injury and increase fatigue.

You gotta like how they're using him so far this game...screen, short pass, short pass. Get him the ball and see if he can get some YAC.

All I see is that the Panthers have called a time out. Are they going to try a 57 yard FG or go for a pass in the endzone? Only have time for 1 play.

I don't think you throw general game theory out the window. Theres probably a lot to be said for the mental advantage of winning this game and actually "earning" your way into the playoffs.

And although unlikely, it's possible they didn't know Buffalo had already lost.

Saints block a 60 yard FG attempt and win the game.

Is there a 59 yard field goal attempt coming up in Carolina?

Jeez... I just heard on CBS that if St. Louis loses, then the SAINTS end up in the playoffs as a result of beating Carolina. Minnesota is apparently already in, since New Orleans kicked Carolina out.
