Fine, if there are that many people that think I should be suspended, then I ask Skydog to suspend me. WTF do you want? I f'd up, I'm sorry. I guess I should just post about things I like for now on. I guess I can't talk about the Cowboys, Raiders, Lakers, Dodgers, NASCAR, Dubya, racist people, USC, that vast majority of Southern Californians, Stuck up white women, Murderers, That show Modern Marvels on the history channel, the 700 club, bad movies, Chuck Norris, Goths, ugly "20" year old women in porn, Osma Bin Laden, Saddam, Iranian leadership, MAD tv, stuck up private school kids, SUV's- expeccially those that shine their lights into my rear-view mirror when I'm driving my small nissan, Turf, tribal arm-band tatoos, ignorant people, math, science, chinese food with msg in it, fish, broken sunglasses, getting shot by a paintball gun, socks with holes in them, 60 era movies with all that annoying singing and dancing in them, musicals, the LIFE channel, shruken shirts, bloody noses, Cable news and the yankees.

Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to think of all those?

More relevantly, I don't really think it's fair to suggest suspension or anything like that for this. I'm sure my voice means little on the matter, but please, that's ridiculous. I like to believe that the only reason anyone would not like hockey is simply that they haven't been properly exposed. Or maybe it's just that Sharpieman realizes that there's equally enjoyable hockey out there to be experienced for a far lower cost, and that the NHL's impending suicide still can't kill hockey. C'mon, lemme believe for just a second, eh?

I don't think Sharpie should be suspended. But Sharpie, come on. You can't see the difference between discussing dislikes and what you did? There's a big difference between talking about not liking hockey and starting a thread just to say "No hockey! Thank god!"

If neither existed, they might do a Ray Goff call-in show, or a radio replay of a classic Braves game, or a discussion of whether it is preferable to toss the sweep or use the stretch handoff, or anything else that *does* interest me. So, in that sense, it actually would be better for non-fans if certain sports didn't exist.

That's funny because that's exactly how I have felt about all of the coverage local pro teams get in the paper. We get 4 pages of Broncos crap on Mondays (usually) and only small blurbs about other games or league news in general. If people weren't so parochial and single-minded, then there would be more coverage about all of the teams.
